I haven't named it yet or styled it out. I don't wanna keep it all black.

I ended up not using the superflux motor as it made it super heavy. Thankfully @dajw had a GT motor needing a new home so I was able to buy that and get it running.

Not before fixing the pairing issue. I reached out to Justin at FixMyPEV and he was able to share some knowledge on the topic since I'm not super up to date in the GT fiasco. This guide was what I ended up following.

Will need to unlock it with the tool that shall not be named so I can use the OWCE app.

I also modified a model on Printables to allow an airtag to be mounted ^-^

Might upload it another day as a remix.

          Not gonna lie, flexy fender top gives Slushy looks to it. :}

@loaffette Thank you ^-^ I do wanna give it a makeover at some point since I'm not super into just black but at least it looks nice as is :3

@Sirgu Aha yeah I had some spare bits so those were migrated over. Slush remains intact though. I want to try without the fender and just the fins but I need to stop the dirt somehow.

I honestly think it looks so good all black, so mean looking.

It haunted me till now when suddenly realized why I like BLACK so much in here.
-- You heard of why fat people wear black clothes? - Yes!
Whenever GT first made into public, prof. Jake Leary criticised it for fat rails and bulky looks in so many reasons. (I agreed all those hands down.) Aside of aspects from practical considerations, one was just the looks.

And yes .. one does not need to be obsessed in black tone in general ... black just makes GT / GT-S look pleasantly slimming.

@sirgu I used to dress in black a lot to slim some bits πŸ˜…

I sort of like the chunkyness of the GT. Although I got some lowboy footpads to bring the ride height lower so it's a bit more stable.

I really like these on my GTS. I replaced the concave pads on my GT for the flats, but that was before the lowboys came out. My GT is now waiting for me in Hawaii and will get a new tire and small cosmetic makeover soon as, right now, both of my boards are pretty murdered out.

@onedangts I like them but as with most FM pads for the past few years they don't activate brilliantly. Although I'll take poor activation over ghosting πŸ˜…

Might have to add some bumps or something to add more pressure points since if the pad gets cold it doesn't activate cleanly lol.

Wanna see pics of these boards now :3

                        https://owforum.co.uk/post/5612 . . . that's what they look like now.
                        https://owforum.co.uk/post/5610 . . . better pic of the GTS.

The GT was loaned to my brother-in-law to learn on, so the bumpers, rail guards and fender got pretty scratched up. It then had a controller issue so I sent it to FM to fix it and I swapped the return address to my Hawaii place while they had it and they shipped it back there (FM life hack to get your board shipped somewhere, LOL). Like a new board, it got to Hawaii in 3 days as well! Once I get there in March, I'll put on the new TFL rail guards and the sharpie/clear nail polish repaired fender along with the new tire (will keep that secret until the reveal).

Can't wait for the reveal ^-^

@onedangts Did FM update to haptic buzz? Seems like FM updates every board sent in for repair.

@lemur I had already updated it as I don't ride up to or past pushback and I wanted the custom shaping.

@lia No reveal yet, but I swapped to a GOAT tire today (had a 2,000 mile Enduro with worn out shoulders). The GOAT is really nice, very similar to the Hoosier Treaded Whisper T2 on the OneDanXR. Compared to the Pint X I was riding here, the GT with the new tire is night and day!

The Enduro came off in like 2 minutes and the GOAT went on just as fast. The 2 beads popped at 50 and 60 psi. Overall, a somewhat painless process compared to the 2 days it took me to swap out the OEM tire on the Pint X when I first got it.

                                GT-S > GT > Pint X > XR > +

Anyway to recalibrate the GT after the update?
My stupid self updated and am now stuck with this weird tilt when riding backwards with wtf rails. Still good riding forward because of adjustable nose tilt. But trying to recalibrate so there isn’t this wonky imbalance from forward to reverse.

[Not a GT/GT-S rider in person, but] AFAIK there is (still) no nRF digi-tilt capability for those boards after recent major update. FM prevented this for GT/GT-S platform, so ppl would forcefully "enjoy" their 'Custom Shaping 3.0' feature instead of angled aftermarket rails (or both together). And this is also why TFL came up with 'Dub Tails' design for this target group -- so at least rear half end of the board remains W-shaped.
Correct me if I am wrong at some point.

Are you still rocking the lowboy foot pads?
Thinking about swapping mine out as I get activation issues sometimes and its super annoying and I would prefer a more mellow concave too.

@lia ah bugger it, I was hoping it was just the hard concave that was causing it where you might not be touching the sensor properly.
                                          Never mind.
Thanks for getting back to me.

@wheelwizard So little update. I got a cheap Surestart Pro off ebay and it's made activating the pad so much better.
Might be worth picking one up if you're still having issues as it's pretty sweet and easy to install :)
