£500 ($650) a good price for a Plus?

do you feel it's "top heavy" as I've heard some suggest?
I'd describe it more as lifted, but similar to my X that I was riding on vacation even with the Hoosier on the X. Add in the tire hardness and you bounce around more, but the extra torque (apex only for me, as was delirium) is so much more forgiving and the grip is so good, that I think I've only lost my stance twice since I got it.

@Lia eager for expanding ur collection a little more?
There's a near pristine 4211 XR on sale in UK. 6 miles [~9,5km], 1200€ [~1005£/~1265$] -
@onedangt that looks amazing for 7200mi., you must not ride the trails Dax does.
def let us know if you let it go I'm interested since my og 4209 started throwing error 21. -
@sirgu Aha don't tempt me. I think I saw that one, amazing price if legit. I think I'll stick to rescuing busted boards. Cheaper and fun to work on. That and I'm still after a GT eventually, the FOMO is real.
Been really enjoying just rolling round on the Plus. Feels different to the XR but not sure how much of that is the tire vs the battery characteristics. Bearings sound a bit dry so will be greasing those up when I get it apart again to replace those missing bolts and inserts.

@lia The Plus definitely has less power, you should be able to feel it. It rides like an XR, only weaker. That is why I always toy with the idea of growlering my Plus, the smaller wheel would pep it up a bit.
-
@biell Agreed, I did notice on my first ride that instead of reaching pushback I was nearly nosediving through it when taking it on my usual XR ride but with the Plus instead. Had to adjust how many beans I gave certain corners and obstacles ;)
However the actual feel of the ride is different but in a good way that I don't think is just the tire. I know my XR feels sluggish compared to other XR's so might be me just noticing that. Regardles very fun to ride and happy to have it part of the family.

I can vouch for this, I've only ridden my XR once since I got the GT. I just feel so much safer on the GT, even though I tend to cruise around at 18/19 mph! There always seems to be extra torque in the tank, so to speak, to keep the board under your feet. My Pint X is gonna feel so slow with the 16 mph hard pushback when I get back to it in May.

I'm on the verge of making the decision. And you're right, I'm not much of a trail rider. My trails are 80% paved bike paths with 20% mostly hard pack dirt and gravel. I think I've done maybe 5 curb drops ever and I really don't bonk or nudge unless absolutely necessary, LOL. I'll post right here if I decide to sell. Probably the best buyer would be in the US so shipping would be reasonable.

yeah im on the fence too. im worried about these things beings lemons a year out of warranty, but that extra stability at speed looks appealing. im not eager to hurt myself. slick or treaded?
-
@notsure Treaded . . . still a bit bouncy and I think it's broken in, but just getting used to it.

I got to let it go, have to move out of the place we've been living for 16yrs as the landlord is selling out, in this economy my rent is going to triple for a 2bdrm apt after living on 7 acres w/ a 12x60 mobile. probably have to sell my sage pint,:(

@b0ardski Sorry to hear that :( Hope you can find something good and cheap without needing to sell stuff.
