@sirgu That is totally ridiculous, and I love every second of it.

                Well, it is not.
If you pause at 3:11 and take this sequence of numbers (under green sticker) you might get a chance for googling the motor-hub used there. Some YT comments below find it's an eBike drive motor. Don't know ... but you can check the hoverboards motor at 0:25 for comparison.

Personally, I really didn't paid in-depth attention on details at first place as it's obviously 'fun-project' not to be taken too seriously. There are bunch of questionabilities other than motor power.

@sirgu Oh wow I didn't even notice, well spotted! I thought when watching this there is no way that hardware is working with this. That sneaky motor swap at least explains part of it lol.

Personally I'd love to see someone actually make a decent Monsterwheel. As fun as "I took X product and changed the frame" is I'd honestly love to see a maximum effort big wheeled board with the hardware to match the scale and no compromise on features like actual footpads and a sensible means to mount it.

The XS exists at 1/2 scale, so whose gonna finally make the XL at 2x scale.

Really, I haven't seen the video! ;) Of course, you'll need to find a little person to ride it (I didn't want to imply anything, LOL).

                    GT-S > GT > Pint X > XR > +

Sonny [at Sonnywheels] have yet recently built his own 13" 'MonsterWheel' or 'BeastWheel' build.
                      https://www.facebook.com/100022045250194/videos/1348563959252711/?idorvanity=537477343058935
Plenty of you know he has done 13" turf-tire mod before ... was it like on V1 or Plus. This time some advanced custom rails 'n stuff featured. Personally I like his innovations.

Well .. the following fits better HERE than into sub-topic of Other 'FLOAT' prototype devices
                        alt text
Ungoverned Vendetta -- the all-terrain 'tank track' snowboard-ish vehicle, that also got introduced here a ~year ago -- has meanwhile got into point where prototype/demo-board is forming into customer product.
Worth watching their recent videos of their channel:
                        https://www.youtube.com/@UNGOVERNEDPtyLtd
                        And Vendetta's SPECS 'n details:
                        https://ungoverned.com.au/
                        ... aand, UPGRADES/SPARES:
                        https://ungoverned.com.au/pages/2023-vendetta-inclusions

Personally did not understand why snowboard (nose-) attachment is not listed whilst 'Ski attachment' is. But yeah, as always -- love the innovation!
And by now .. as specualtions for price were much higher before .. this ~4k euros for best retail option is actually LESS than 2x OW+ XR price when these were first launched in EU market. Yet still a pricey "toy" (with all it's complexity and maintainance) but I can see why.
