Watching Action on the Leaderboards
-
@biell they may never have finished it. it was an acquisition, right? prob bought it, cracked it open, closed it back up n said 'good enough'! just disabled the sketchiest parts perhaps...
-
@nuckingfutz Welcome to the forum :) Well done with the streak too!
trying to see if there was a full leaderboard , but from the looks of it there isn’t one ?
As of yet there isn't a way that I'm aware of to pull the entire leaderboard. But as @biell has mentioned it might be possible if someone could figure out how to request more of the data via the API.

Not that this means a lot, just for fun really…
Number of days taken to move on up the leaderboard from 50th to 8th for me… -
@lia Thank you, thank you 🙏🏻 Glad to be here.
There are some impressive streaks in here 💪
I would have been a lil further along on day streak , but
Didn’t understand at first you had to ride at least a mile for it to register. The other day I moved 2 spots and was thinking oh no someone must have forgot or gave up, or had technical problems. So decided to look for further info and found the Forum -
@nuckingfutz So many impressive streaks and high mileage riders.
Notably @HanahsDax , @S-Leon and now @Puzz360 all with some healthy numbers that show an admirable dedication! Welcome to the club :) -
@lia -- Oh so modest, Lia, #2 just hours behind fuser -- Stunning dedication really, except for a very unfortunate app glitch.
-
@notsure Yes, they did acquire the app to speed their development. But, in this case, I think whoever first built the api did so on top of a library or other code which is templated out for a standard multi-page search function. However, the methods/hooks were never implemented to perform sorting, pagination, etc. I don't think they have any plans to go back an implement this, as I don't think they want us to be mining the leaderboard data.

I was around on the top 60's on the daily streak until the winter storms came and I got stuck inside. I wasn't insane enough to ride on the ice so I had to let my streak die off ;-;
-
i'm in position 20!
-
@cheppy44 that’s Awesome 👏🏻 💪🏻 Keep up the good work
@LOAFFETTE oh no , I know that had to be a tough one to let go 😣 , I was worried about my streak when we had a lot of rain In Tx I had to ride in the rain a couple days. Was worried about messing my board up.
-
@nuckingfutz wait you live in Texas?!
Which part? I'm in Stephenville!
-
@loaffette oh Nice another Tx Rider Yep I’m In Tx , I’m out in The Woodlands Area close to Houston.
-
@nuckingfutz I met a rider last summer from The Woodlands area who was visiting the town I live in. Chill dude who I dubbed Mr. Stokes because of his demeanor. Here’s a picture of him riding down Boulevard Trail.
-
I noticed today long time Pint day streak leader Trappedinanelevator from the U.K. wasn’t on the day streak leaderboard anymore. This rider also holds the #7 spot on the mileage leaderboard and have changed their handle to AppStoleMyDayStreak. Bummer to hear they lost their streak to an app issue.
-
@hanahsdax Rip streak from another UK rider. That's got to hurt :(
Nice pic btw! -
@hanahsdax such a shame as they had a very healthy daystreak. I had DM'd that rider in the past being in the UK.
I've always wondered, if you kept screenshots of your rides and app info, you could prove to FM you had done your mileage for the day and that it was an app/server issue they may adjust the data for you.
It'd be a long shot but I would certainly try.I also thought that the problems I had with the app seemingly not recording my rides coincided with the likes of race for the rail events ? Probably just coincidence.
Edit....
Bit odd that I have jumped up 7 places on the pint daystreak too since yesterday and I've not been out yet 🤷 -
@hanahsdax what’s funny is He was just telling me about you , I just met him the other day and picked up a TFL Enduro tire for my XR . Really Cool Guy he let me Rip around on One of his GT’s for my First time.
He started telling me about Riding with you out in CO I believe is where he said , I said that guy is on the Forum I just signed up with 💪💪

@puzz360
As of January 7, I had a day streak of 266 days on my GT. At that point I was #13.
On January 8, it said ‘no day streak’,
I did contact FM, with data, and screenshots, of the rides. We went back and forth, ultimately they basically said ‘sorry for your loss’.
I have a great story about the extraordinary effort I went through to keep the streak alive, and have not missed a day since taking delivery of the board.
I haven’t figured out, or maybe don’t have the patience to learn how to post photos or videos yet. At any rate, I was in a remote area, but the previous two days did basically the same ride, and those were accepted. As disappointing as it was, it’s their world, their rules.
I have not missed a day of riding, and have now ridden an additional 39 days, it has me as #76 now. -
Well, what can you do with that sort of response from FM.... !!!
I'm sorry to hear that this has happened to you. As you say and know, it takes some effort to keep a daystreak going.
Heading out in all sorts of weather, working around family plans, working through illness and sometimes injury, fitting in repairs etc. as well as life in general.I'm glad you've kept going though and are continuing up the leaderboard again...
It seems the same has happened to quite a few people now then.
For my sanity, I do try and get a "banker" in early in the day. Then try and go out later in the evening as well. Don't know if that helps....
Keep on floating my friend (as they say)

Ouch! I fell off the Leaderboard -- due to inactivity on my V1. The Hoosier 5.5 treaded tire has been flat for a few months, worn through the threads. Good thing I have a fresh motor with a newer Hoosier 5.5 on the way. I should reinstate on the Leaderboard soon. In the meantime it is nice to see who had been hidden at #11.
