RE: GTS First Ride
This board’s maiden voyage was on what the local MTB riders call the “Connector Trail.”
And the first battle scar.

RE: Where's Onewheel?
I’ve been taking a bunch of pics for this thread but I won’t spam the feed so I’ll post some every few days. Here is two from a trip to the ghost town of Alta I took a couple weeks ago titled “Room With A View” and “The 14ers.”

RE: Where's Onewheel?
In the same vein but adding my own little twist to the thread, can you spot the GT stock treaded tire’s tread mark?

I’ve been slowly working on a project and have shared clips here and there on Reddit but wanted to share this still from a vid the other night. -
RE: Where's Onewheel?
Gonna do a little cross post from the “Onewheel Neighbors” thread and also answer @Lia’s question. I’ve been enjoying riding with the EUC riders. I would be down to ride with any PEV rider whether it be an EUC rider, a Onewheeler, E-bike or Scooter. I actually had some friends come up last weekend to ride their MTBs on what I would call the premier XC trail on the ski resort. I had to wait on them on the uphill portions but got smoked on the downhill sections. Now back to the title thread, yes there are a few “one” wheels pictured but can you spot the Onewheel?

RE: Onewheel Photoshoot Thread
I’ve been traveling thru the state of Arizona a lot in the last few months going to California dealing with a family affair. These pictures are from my most recent trip a couple days ago off Interstate 17 near the unincorporated community of New River. The Saguaro Cactus have a lifespan of over a 150 years and it generally takes over 50 years before they grow “arms.” -
RE: Watching Action on the Leaderboards
Thanks everyone. Looks like it’s a co-owned spot with MTPenguin which I don’t mind, I didn’t like the idea/thought of taking another rider’s spot. Whoever gets out earlier or puts more miles on the GT-S can have it that day. I’ve been playing a little rotation game lately where whatever board was the last to ride the previous day is the first board to be ridden the next day.

RE: Your achievements this year and plans for the next?
I guess I’ll start off with what I was stoked to accomplish this year. I didn’t get as much riding in as I would’ve liked and I wasn’t able to ride a mountain pass like previous years but I did find/ride a few new trails/routes. I created a comp film titled Day Streak: a movie with Onewheels in it. I was able to officially cross the 1000 day mark on my V1 and also completed 5 years of riding everyday in November.
The biggest goal I had but didn’t get to accomplish which I was the most bummed about was Operation Perpetual Motion: Regen Madness part 3. Everything was lining up for this experiment to happen; the bike park was closed, the Gondola was open an extra week, the weather was unseasonably warm, the route had been determined and tested. Then tragedy struck. An injury occurred. I sprained my ankle 2 weeks before I was set to execute the plan. I was initially optimistic I could pull off a quick recovery and still make it happen but after the first few days of recovery I knew it wasn’t going to happen. The route is too demanding which consists of single track, bike park trails and service roads. I had no option but to abort the mission.
To understand the purpose of Operation Perpetual Motion: Regen Madness part 3 we must take a trip back in time to the year 2020 when part 1 was executed.
29 miles on a XR with a stock battery.Then part 2 in 2021
19 miles on a V1 with a stock battery. And here was the test run screenshot for part 3 on my GT with the goal being trying to get 40+ miles on one full battery charge.
I hope to be able to give part 3 a shot next year. Other 2024 goals include finishing the little backyard track I’ve developed, riding a 1000 lunch break miles, trying to have a 10,000 mile day streak on my GT and hitting the 2,000 days in a row milestone which is ironic/crazy because it will fall on the anniversary date of when my XR day streak ended.

RE: Watching Action on the Leaderboards
@lia
According to this screenshot taken the day my XR streak ended, I had 150 days on him meaning if his day streak ended yesterday it would’ve been 1,708 days which is a little over 4 and a half years. -
