I noticed today long time Pint day streak leader Trappedinanelevator from the U.K. wasn’t on the day streak leaderboard anymore. This rider also holds the #7 spot on the mileage leaderboard and have changed their handle to AppStoleMyDayStreak. Bummer to hear they lost their streak to an app issue.
-
@hanahsdax Rip streak from another UK rider. That's got to hurt :(
Nice pic btw! -
@hanahsdax such a shame as they had a very healthy daystreak. I had DM'd that rider in the past being in the UK.
I've always wondered, if you kept screenshots of your rides and app info, you could prove to FM you had done your mileage for the day and that it was an app/server issue they may adjust the data for you.
It'd be a long shot but I would certainly try.I also thought that the problems I had with the app seemingly not recording my rides coincided with the likes of race for the rail events ? Probably just coincidence.
Edit....
Bit odd that I have jumped up 7 places on the pint daystreak too since yesterday and I've not been out yet 🤷 -
@hanahsdax what’s funny is He was just telling me about you , I just met him the other day and picked up a TFL Enduro tire for my XR . Really Cool Guy he let me Rip around on One of his GT’s for my First time.
He started telling me about Riding with you out in CO I believe is where he said , I said that guy is on the Forum I just signed up with 💪💪

@puzz360
As of January 7, I had a day streak of 266 days on my GT. At that point I was #13.
On January 8, it said ‘no day streak’,
I did contact FM, with data, and screenshots, of the rides. We went back and forth, ultimately they basically said ‘sorry for your loss’.
I have a great story about the extraordinary effort I went through to keep the streak alive, and have not missed a day since taking delivery of the board.
I haven’t figured out, or maybe don’t have the patience to learn how to post photos or videos yet. At any rate, I was in a remote area, but the previous two days did basically the same ride, and those were accepted. As disappointing as it was, it’s their world, their rules.
I have not missed a day of riding, and have now ridden an additional 39 days, it has me as #76 now. -
Well, what can you do with that sort of response from FM.... !!!
I'm sorry to hear that this has happened to you. As you say and know, it takes some effort to keep a daystreak going.
Heading out in all sorts of weather, working around family plans, working through illness and sometimes injury, fitting in repairs etc. as well as life in general.I'm glad you've kept going though and are continuing up the leaderboard again...
It seems the same has happened to quite a few people now then.
For my sanity, I do try and get a "banker" in early in the day. Then try and go out later in the evening as well. Don't know if that helps....
Keep on floating my friend (as they say)

Ouch! I fell off the Leaderboard -- due to inactivity on my V1. The Hoosier 5.5 treaded tire has been flat for a few months, worn through the threads. Good thing I have a fresh motor with a newer Hoosier 5.5 on the way. I should reinstate on the Leaderboard soon. In the meantime it is nice to see who had been hidden at #11.
-
@s-leon Hope you manage to get back up on there soon :) x
-
@lia -- Just powering up my V1 and connecting to the app reinstated it on the V1 mileage Leaderboard.
This week TWO previously unseen riders have shown up on the five-place XR Daystreak Leaderboard. Does that mean now that number 6 and number 8 are here on the OWForum patiently riding and waiting in the wings?
-
@s-leon Possibly so! Beat me too it, I just got back from shopping and noticed.
I wonder if maybe something happened since 2 high ranked streakers dropped within days of eachother and @cheppy44 unfortunately lost his streak due to some weird app error that counted the day, then wiped it the next :( Wondering if the app is stating a streak is counted when it actually isn't.
-
@s-leon I always think with every position change “that’s it, I won’t get any higher now, I’m in with the hardcore”
But, slowly and surely we move up the chart… no.6 at the moment and probably stuck there for a while I reckon.
I do hope the riders that have dropped off are ok but feel a bit wary about contacting them just in case.
I did however contact the now number 4 as I liked his Pink Floyd reference of “On the turning away”
Bit of a Floyd nut here 😊
Stay safe everyone…
-
@lia it’s been a while since the app has had issues logging rides for me.
I do try and get more than a mile as often as possible but as we all know the weather is not the best sometimes and work/life can limit when we can ride.Still we are in the hands of the 1s and 0s and the good old internet. Also the FM servers I guess too…
Fingers crossed every day eh ? Lol -

I crashed belting along to 'great gig in the sky' ...no injuries, Claire saved me....😂

Are the Northern Hemisphere riders back out riding yet? Or still too bleak?
I'm still climbing on the XR mileage rank, where previous years it would slow down or even go backwards around this time of year as Northerners get out there again. Maybe a big percentage has moved to the GT and parked their XR's? 🙄
-
@stinkyface well, for me I’m out there daily but yep, it’s still a bit too bleak in general in the UK. Obvs we have good days but dodge the showers regularly.
Roll on summer. Nearly there…When the Fat Old Sun in the sky is falling………… 😏
-
I may or may not be falling off #8 in May due to some medical stuff that is prohibiting me from riding for... 6 weeks... >.>
The doc said nothing strenuous for 6 weeks and frankly just lifting Slushy probably falls in that category. Unless I leave her in the main room and just poot about in circles like I do in the winter I may have to end my days of streaking ;~;
Best bet I'll try to keep it going somehow but like I really don't want to complicate the recovery process.
-
@lia aw, I'm sorry..
I hope you get better soon!
-
@lia -- Truly, your health is more important! We all know that you are a seriously dedicated Onewheel rider!!!
-
@s-leon Thank you <3
I was optimistic I could just ride through it but the doc on the pre-op kinda made it clear that I'm going to be a sack of potatoes for a while >.> -
@lia finally getting those feet enlargement surgeries u been talkin about? very happy for you. good luck!
