@hanahsdax Thanks :)
Totally regretting not getting out more this year. Seeing the forecast practically be a wall of rain I can’t say I’m looking forward to winter here.Wild to hear you’re already getting snow. Hope you still manage to get some good rides in and have fun :)

Agreed, that said we're now going to rely on @stinkyface to provide us the well needed good weather pics now that it should be getting nicer down under :)
Trying hard not to drag politics here
Harder than it sounds! Kept a lid on mine which to those that know me is near impossible. I think I need to make some clear platform rules at some point just so there is no ambiguity on what is/isn't allowed, mostly to protect those that want to use the space more than anything. No personal attacks etc. None of which have applied yet and I doubt will need to be used anyway since we're all nice and cool people :)
Politics pertaining to PEV however will be fine regardless since it's relevant to the forum and keeps us all up to date so we can totally be law abiding citizens ;)

Still hovering around 90F here in Sacramento! As long as TFL is posting local vids, I'll be riding. Now, if I can just shake this COVID the wife brought back from Disney, I'll get back out there!

As much as I hate the humidity, I kind of miss the hot weather already lol. Considering wrist warmers and heated socks this year along with my normal thin layers. Never been a fan of heavy coats.
Can't agree more with the politics thing. Another forum I'm on had to outright ban the subject, close the political sub-forums and start heavy moderating until everyone got the message. Even the most innocuous posts were turning ugly. -
Because the trees and their leaves get all the Autumn glory here is a picture I snapped of some grass while riding with some friends on their MTBs down Prospect Trail last weekend. -
I’ve been slowly working on a project and have shared clips here and there on Reddit but wanted to share this still from a vid the other night. -

Liking what I'm seeing so far, cannot wait to see it :D -

@blkdout I was going to title the post “Going Bonkers!”

One ride around campus before I have finals for college
I'm going to need a lot of soda for this week
-
Rode around with a friend and their pint before they had to go to a different college.
Also was riding around tonight, and a bunch of
little ||shits||kids in a van drove by and threw water balloons at me. They missed but I'm still fuming about it, and now considering buying a tracker for my OW in case they come back later during the break and try to steal my boardI seriously hate kids now.
-
@loaffette Glad to hear you're able to go ride with friends :) Shame it had to be ruined by a small group of idiots.
As for tracking the 2 big options are Tile and Apple Airtags. I personally use an airtag smuggled in the cable cover on a 3D printed version to hold it in place.
-
@loaffette -- Where's your Onewheel? It's at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas -- south and west of Dallas/Fort Worth!
-
@s-leon Nope! Back home now, so it's in Dallas!
It's good not to be doing calculus every day, thank god for the winter break -
Three miles short of twelve thousand on my Plus today at about 32 degrees F -- freezing... (Note: The bridge graffitti is not my handwriting.)
-
Snapped this on my first ride to work for the year. I always wonder if the spelling errors are intentional??
Will do better next time and include the board. 🙄

That'll throw them off the trail ;) Really nice pic you got. How long is that road? Looks like it goes on forever!
@stinkyface Honestly with how bad my spelling can be I bet whoever did that didn't notice lol.
-
@lia -- Looking to the distance on that section of the Greenway, it's a mile and a half (2.4 km) until it crosses Allen Rd. The entire Greenway is forty-four miles long (about 71 km), and mostly straight like that. This is the bridge over Mill Creek, which sometimes roars with huge amounts of rushing water. Further south on a section I regularly Onewheel is Badger Run, a much slower, quieter stream.

Murdered (out) the GT
Also got the front and back flat pads on. Now just needs to stop raining for 24 hours straight so maybe I can charge up and go.
