I machined a set of lowering custom axle adapters to mount a Superflux or XR/Plus motor.
These blocks lower the stock rails by 1/2 inch, but that little bit makes a big difference in the feel of the board, less "tippy".IMG_7588.JPG IMG_7580.JPG IMG_7583.JPG IMG_7584.JPG IMG_7586.JPG IMG_7585.JPGIMG_E7582.JPG

@lia Are you going to vesc or stock GT controller with your SF?

@lia If you go with Sf motor it will require internal motor mods to make it compatible with the GT controller, axle adapters and appropriate phase/hall connectors. I can send you instructions for motor mods if you go that route.
You can also use a XR/Plus motor too with just axle adapters and appropriate phase/hall connectors.

@lemur I've given it some thought and I might take a swing at making an alternative daughterboard for the GT to accept the new Superflux V2 connector. Gonna be very DIY and hands on but a nice clean solution if I can pull it off.

Gotta finish a few other things up first. The new XR based controller housing for Fungineers is nearing completion so I should have some time after that to give it a swing.
