          @ed_co Looks like there's no problem taking apart the motor.

              @ed_co Picking up an expensive Snapon torx plus 45 right now to take the GT axle bolts off. One Snapon socket is the same price as a set of OTC TP sockets. I disconnected the GT motor , footpad cables, reconnected them and the board is still good.

                @ed_co Did the conversion today, I have to make another shim as the present one is a little too thin, leaving too little axle endplay. It runs ,but can't upload a video. IMG_5261-1.jpg IMG_5260-1.jpg drawing.jpg

                      @lemur Amazing work!
                      For a vid I'd recommend uploading to Youtube and linking it here if you can.

                      Would love to see this working. Barely a week after launch and the community is undoing these roadblocks.

                        Great work! How is the clearance on the footpad sides, looks marginal or just the img?

                        Aka "Vommbat"

                          Any change/improvement/news? Overcoming the wheel issue sounds outstanding TBH.
                          The promised wheels from C&R and TFL sounds a very expensive solution, there would be a bump in the price for sure... (the new tooling system the companies could require for a custom solution makes it much more expensive).

                            @maciak The clearance is close, The wheel is moved over to one side by 1/8" due to hub differences. The stock tire is very close to the footpads too.
