@theadman ok cool. Well if you’re in Cardiff again give me a shout. The Bay Area is my normal run round. Only been riding for 6 months
-
@jurassicmatt can do, I've not been riding much longer than you, 8 months.
-
Went for a loooong ride with @TheAdman around Milton Keynes and managed to nearly flatten my battery.
His Floatwheel had a fair bit left in the tank. On the way I got some nice pics even though the weather was pretty dire.
-
@lia I think I had 19% when we got back to the car 18 miles later. It'll be interesting to see how much range I gain when I get new bearings in there.
(I ruined the bearings on it with over-zealous cleaning, for those not in the know) -

That and when the warmer weather hits, you'll gain quite a bit of range I think.

@onedangts it's quite mild lately, despite the UK's reputation of being cold and wet. Ok, yes it is raining quite a lot now but it was like 14c earlier which is pretty good for mid February.
I've ran the battery down to 20% in 12 miles before but I was not hanging around on that ride. -
It's a beautiful day here, my cars in for a service so what better to do whilst I wait than have a ride round the town?
-
Went on a group ride with @TheAdman and a few others.
Just GTs and a Floatwheel. Nothing else would have coped on this one.

The OneDanGT moves to Hawaii
So after I purchased the GTS, I loaned my GT out to a noob for a few weeks. It had some minor wear and tear already, but came back to me with some nice fender and rails cuts and bruises. Coincidence or not, the controller started failing a few days after the latest firmware upgrade, so I sent it in to FM. While they had it, I swapped out the return address and, lo and behold, it got shipped to my home away from home on the north shore of Oahu!
I packed up the charger, fender, a new GOAT tire, and new TFL rail guards and hand carried them on my trip. After verifying that the GT was fixed, I got everything installed. I even sharpied and put clear coat nail polish on the fender scratches. Being my 4th or 5th tire change, this one took a total of maybe an hour, including taking the board apart and putting it back together.
So here's the OneDanGT all comfy in its new digs:
Not claiming I rode it up into these roots, although I'm sure there may be folks on this forum that could! I actually think the GOAT and the Psycho Tuna on the fendor make it look like this is actually possible.
New Vans Half Cabs in gold to complement the new color way of the OneDanGT:
Some typical views while riding the north shore:

The weather was good today so I got out on an ADVenture with the floatwheel. Paths and trails both familiar and new. I think this photo is the pick of the bunch I took.

Midnight prowl around Towcester.
-
Some pics from a group ride this past weekend ^-^
(Thanks to @TheAdman for taking a pic of me being a dork)
-
@lia I remember a time when you would've been riding IN that stream!
-
@onedangts Those were the days 🥰 I do still ride through some deep water but not to that extent. Doing 30 minute stream sesh's was a bit much thinking back to it. Though I have been tempted on so many occasions.
-
Got a $5 red shark sticker in Hawaii for the GTS . . . but it NEEDED some $140 red TFL Bang Bumpers to complete the look!
-
@onedangts That looks niiiiiiiice! Those low boys on the front too?
-
@lia Yup, standard GTS lowboy pads . . . way better than the hard core concaves that come on the GT. I put the flat pads on my GT (now my Hawaii boarfd) cuz I hated the GT concaves.
-
@onedangts Got the same on mine. Lowies in the front and kushy on the back ^-^

I’ve been traveling thru the state of Arizona a lot in the last few months going to California dealing with a family affair. These pictures are from my most recent trip a couple days ago off Interstate 17 near the unincorporated community of New River. The Saguaro Cactus have a lifespan of over a 150 years and it generally takes over 50 years before they grow “arms.” -
@hanahsdax just got back from Scottsdale on business. Love that spring weather!
