Onewheel Photoshoot Thread

Rode around with a friend and their pint before they had to go to a different college.
Also was riding around tonight, and a bunch of
little ||shits||kids in a van drove by and threw water balloons at me. They missed but I'm still fuming about it, and now considering buying a tracker for my OW in case they come back later during the break and try to steal my boardI seriously hate kids now.
-
@loaffette Glad to hear you're able to go ride with friends :) Shame it had to be ruined by a small group of idiots.
As for tracking the 2 big options are Tile and Apple Airtags. I personally use an airtag smuggled in the cable cover on a 3D printed version to hold it in place.
-
@loaffette -- Where's your Onewheel? It's at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas -- south and west of Dallas/Fort Worth!
-
@s-leon Nope! Back home now, so it's in Dallas!
It's good not to be doing calculus every day, thank god for the winter break -
Three miles short of twelve thousand on my Plus today at about 32 degrees F -- freezing... (Note: The bridge graffitti is not my handwriting.)
-
Snapped this on my first ride to work for the year. I always wonder if the spelling errors are intentional??
Will do better next time and include the board. 🙄

That'll throw them off the trail ;) Really nice pic you got. How long is that road? Looks like it goes on forever!
@stinkyface Honestly with how bad my spelling can be I bet whoever did that didn't notice lol.
-
@lia -- Looking to the distance on that section of the Greenway, it's a mile and a half (2.4 km) until it crosses Allen Rd. The entire Greenway is forty-four miles long (about 71 km), and mostly straight like that. This is the bridge over Mill Creek, which sometimes roars with huge amounts of rushing water. Further south on a section I regularly Onewheel is Badger Run, a much slower, quieter stream.

Murdered (out) the GT
Also got the front and back flat pads on. Now just needs to stop raining for 24 hours straight so maybe I can charge up and go.

My board’s history…
New board, just out of the box 😀
Temporary vinyl wrap for protection (carbon fibre look)
In the Netherlands, with homemade rail guards
Trail riding locally, Brighton way in the distance… Stroh green setup… with a Hoosier treaded tyre, oh and flight fins… had them a while though.
Latest setup with Craft&Ride grip tape.
To be continued………….. 🤞

Late last year I had a job to do in a place called Weston Super Mare, as usual I took my board to be able to add another location on the map... Oh and to keep up the day streak of course. 😉
While I was out floating on the promenade I happened across Dave and his onewheel, a local who was regularly floating around here...
This photo opportunity came up and I couldn't believe my luck with the wording in the background...
It was great meeting a fellow onewheeler and enjoying a bit of carving along the prom... Cheers Dave. 👍 -
@puzz360 Amazed at the coincidence of the sign. Great pic and what looks to be a really pretty sunset on the way :)
-
My onewheel (still need a name for it) that has had a new back footpad and tire lookin a bit fresh. The carbon fiber fender has a few new dings in it. Here's a picture of what it looks like so far!
!
And yes, it is standing up on its own. -
@loaffette nice.... self balancing in more ways than one...
Is your board waiting for the lift (elevator) ?
;) -
@puzz360 indeed
Also that night someone had just dropped their ice cream cone and left the mess in there
Elevator now has a stain in the carpet floor.
College be like -
Censored…. Naked Onewheel stripped for a tyre change.
For the brave… warning, it’s filthy. Lol
spoiler -
@puzz360 thats hot!
Saving that to my hard drive xD
-
Spring is on the way and although it's still like 5C (41F) I'm ready to finally get out more again!

@notsure C'mon a skort and thin shrug in this weather is totally fine ;)
