i wonder if they would. i think they might be more inclined if i was a known, active member of the group, but i just haven't been able to join yet. I will also add that they have something like 45 people on their OW notification list, but from what i've seen of people who RSVP that actually go, the turnout is more like 8-10 people at most. So it seems like i'm not the only one.

Yesterday i went out for a short ride and ran into a guy riding along with his dog. We stopped and talked for a bit*, and he gave me a tip on some places to ride that he likes that are in the neighborhood, so that was cool. Maybe i'll run into him again and we can link up through the app.

*Actually, the first thing he asked me was if i had done the haptic buzz update yet (he was on an XR). I said that as far as i know it's not out for the OG Pint yet, but that i planned on doing it. He said he had updated his, and he said so far he's had no issues. He hasn't even been able to trigger it yet, so he feels it's all fine. It was interesting to get a first-hand experience.

Apologies for the length of this one. I had the day off so went on a bit of an adventure round the local city. I made some new friends although they don't really talk much, and saw lots of cool things, both modern and old.

@hanahsdax looks can be deceiving, you have to duck and go at walking speed and it's barely 20m long. There is quite the set of steps on the other side for the truly brave. (Not me, not yet.)
