      Hi there, I'm Adam. From a small UK town some of you know well.
      I recently bought an XR and included are a few sets up bumpers. Apparently it's been water proofed and I wondered if there's anything special I need to do when changing the bumpers so the waterproofing isn't ruined.
      Also, one of the the holes for the fender bolts has been shredded. Is there a replacement I can get so it isn't held on by just three bolts?
      Thanks all

          @theadman Hiya :)

          Swapping out the bumpers shouldn't undo the waterproofing. That's all done on the housing behind the bumpers.

            I believe they are, black and white striped pattern. I just need the threaded metal insert if is possible to buy those.

              @theadman You've got stock rails, just had some vinyl rail guards on.

              Is it the actually thread that's bust or the bolt is chewed up?

                @lia ah yes, I see they are covers now. Nah threads gone, tried several bolts. I'm gonna run it with no fender given its dry, but the additional thread that's dropped out will needs replacing.

                  Hi & welcome! If you are not after the flawless looks - some good tight cable tie will handle, since it's your first and ONLY stripped thread out of whole setup and since it's just sustaining fender in place. Especially if you've got some stripe-pattern railguards .. look for colored cable tie that matches the appearance. With the max. width the hole allows.
                  You can postpone this work for now.
