Watching Action on the Leaderboards

@sirgu That's okay, there's a bit of a story too it.
There was an official streak being held by his XR before it E16'd one day out of nowhere. While it was being repaired the V1 took on the torch for the unofficial streak and to keep count Dax began counting the streak on the username.Officially the GT streak is 277 days but counting XR -> V1 -> GT he's managed a daily streak of 1500 without breaking a single day.
This of course becomes even more wild when you consider he's still actually holding a 2 year long V1 streak at the same time!There is a celebration post on reddit too with some cool pics too for anyone wanting to take a peak :)

Cool, that clears it up. Thanks @Lia!
As stupid as it sounds, for a minute I thought that is some sort of crazy app feature to imply three/four-digit numbers into usernames for those who are well deserved it, lol. Because there are some others alike.
EDIT:
What it takes to get a day-"streak" logged anyways?- FM app always hooked up for sure. (?)
- More than 1 mile rode per day? More than 5?? 10???
- More than 5mph per daily ride? More than 10mph?? ...
- GPS location always enabled ?
--Sorry I really don't know! I picked up from somewhere that Dax does basement parking lot rides on rainy days. That only probably don't aknowledge me enough on understanding how to get such achievement. 1500 days of hustle for sure!
-
Hey @Sirgu, I began adding my day streak count to my username to help me keep track of where I am at. Itโs an unofficial record using the โofficialโ Onewheel app.
In order to continue a day streak, a rider must ride at least a mile with the app being opened at some point so the information can be sent to the main server.
-
@HanahsDax , therefore you also must be one of the well organized riders out there! Phone always charged up, either one of your boards always reliably good to go, app always (early) updated in good network.
I can hardly imagine the frustration like -- being out on late-evening ride .. later app launch on the fly pops up the 'forced update' screen overlay .. no good mobile data .. no returning home before midnight .. oh sh..
(personally I don't care)
Congratz on your 1500 days! -
I was in the top 100 when it rained bad down here in Texas and I didn't want to risk water damage and my streak was ended ;-;
-
Happy to report finally cracking the top 100 for XR mileage.....
-
@stinkyface congrats man!
-
@stinkyface -- Good looking number(s)!!!
-
Two years of eating this achievement challenge for lunch. Whereโs my lunch voucher Future Motion? -
@hanahsdax haha, at the other end of the spectrum. Been riding this contraption for 4 years and only 15 lunchtime rides.. ๐
At least I haven't missed out on a free feed.

Seven riders on the V1 day streak leaderboard. -
@hanahsdax -- I have been enjoying your back and forth Onewheel Leaderboard dance with HoleinOnewheel. Today I notice you achieved the nice round number of 6100 GT miles logged -- and that at the moment HoleinOnewheel is at 6101.
Also impressive to me is the fact that every single one of your GT miles is also your mileage on the GT mileage Leaderboard. And... you will SOON be overtaking solofloat 4 degrees, which will put you at a solid #3 in the GT Daystreak with no more toggling to #4 occasionally.
Having had long streaks myself on the V1 and Onewheel Plus I appreciate that you ride lots -- in all kinds of weather and whether you really want to or might not. That and CONCURRENTLY #1 on the V1 Daystreak with the longest streak I have ever seen there. A rider you are -- beyond my own heart!!!

I'm in the top 100 now

Just realised I missed the 2 year anniversary of messing up my streak, how time flies!
However as promised, I will be back... eventually >.>
-
My streak is gone thanks to the snow over here
Board isn't water proof and I'm not crazy enough to try to learn on the ice
For now -
Today I awoke to see I had moved up the XR daystreak leaderboard....
It's always with a bit of sadness though as I think it could be because of someone else's misfortune. Let's hope for them it was intentional to stop...
I have also had my fair share of close scrapes before midnight wondering why my mileage hasn't triggered the daystreak to the point of going out again and again right up until midnight. So far so good.Don Morgan has gone from the 4th spot meaning I now occupy position 8....
I have a record of how long it's taken to move along each place, I'll try and post it here when I get it updated.
I did think when I was in the top 20 I was with the elite and unlikely to progress, but it's nice to have the challenge to keep going providing the board holds out ๐ ๐ค
Keep on floating everyone โ๐โ

@puzz360 Congrats on shifting up another spot, how many days are you at to hold #8?
It's always with a bit of sadness though as I think it could be because of someone else's misfortune
I hope it's intentional too, I never like to consider a nasty scrape is responsible for losing a place.
-
@lia for the dizzy heights of 8th I've done 777 days.
Would have been nice to be 7th ๐ -
@puzz360 Nicely done! 7th would have been truly a work of art if you'd managed that :)
That puts #9 somewhere between 777 and 751 then since that's where I'm at in #10 -
A rider from France, Jerem Ada, new #5 on the XR Daystreak, posted a screenshot of their Leaderboard numbers on Facebook an hour or so ago. Besides the #5 on the XR Daystreak they hold #12 and #12 on GT and XR mileage, as well as #27 on GT Daystreak.
Interesting to me is to get the window on how far behind #10 the #12 on GT mileage is โ 6229 - 5795 = 434 miles two places back. And the average of their 9323km divided by their 219 days is an impressive 42.5km per day on GT โ or 26.4 miles per dayโฆ While also riding an XR averaging 16.24 miles per day.
