Ever wonder how useful the mods are for the subreddit/discord are?
Also, if not aware, Dan's pretty two-faced and isn't really as much of a "champion" of the community despite what you may think from his let's petition FM mass email. In discord, he's pretty pro-FM, and mocks a lot users, along with dismissive of other's ideas on improvements/changes that could be made to benefit the community. Likely due to a "not invented here" mentality. Then he has basically the same expectation for the mods he adds to follow suit... Have you seen how clueless some of their replies are in the sub?

Someone just posted it again minutes ago ;)Nevermind they deleted it already lmao.
Personally I don't get why Reddit allows for crossposts without consolidating threads already shared in a given sub.Seems like something Reddit could fix by either telling the poster "this has already been crossposted" before posting or just merging it with the prior ones so it doesn't occupy another spot in the feed.

The allowance and passivity for some things regarding the sub and discord kind of fuels itself in the declining quality/experience. 6 months to a year ago, there would be a lot of familiar names jumping on a post to help out...
Now, I think many of us have gotten kind of tired of either the same repeated content, or having to argue with someone that has no idea what they're talking about. But ultimately for whatever reason it's resulting in a brain drain, and decrease in community knowledge.
As much as Dan likes using AutoMod, it could work a lot better; like holding crossposts for review, along with repeated phrases...
But then again, apparently someone was asking how to add air to their GT tire...
