      So, I've got a repair question:

      Is it bad to have tiny rocks embed themselves in your tire?
      Rode over a small patch of them and didn't think much until I got off to sit down and take a break when I knocked my board over by accident and saw the rocks.

      The rock buddies
      Rock buddies have joined the ride

      113 volts?! I could lick that!

        @loaffette Really common, not much of an issue
        Is that the stock Vega by chance? That tire is an avid rock collector lol.

          @lia said in Rocks in my tire:

          That is one of the main reason I like the treaded tires . . . you get an occasional rock stuck in the treads, but with the Vega I had to clean off the tire after every ride and it looked a lot like @LOAFFETTE's pic. That and the way the Vega just slips out from under you when you hit some wet grass, mud, or wet leaves!

            @lia yes, very stock
            I was hoping since I wanted to assume that the tire was thick

            Was worried because my bike tire is thinner than paper and I had a single sticker poke into the inner tube of my bike and warrant a patch kit on it

            Imagine a patch kit on a vega tire though, lol
            very cursed

              @loaffette The vega is pretty tough tbh, it’s a real thick bit of rubber, great for durability. Mine did just over 7000km before I swapped it out. Ride is nicer on rounder tires though so when you want some buttery carving it’s like the #1 thing to change.

              You joke but my Whisper got some tire patches and worked okay. Will admit it felt proper cursed 😅
