XrGt conversion

XrGt conversion:
This is a reverse conversion, a Gt rotor with a Xr stator and a Enduro 6.5 inch tire.
I wanted to try this conversion on my XR to see if anecdotal info about the GT rotor magnets are stronger than the XR magnets.
One axle mount has been milled and a shim for the other side to center the wheel, internally I have a shim to fit the XR stator to the GT rotor.
Yes, the tread is backwards, as I intend to change my GT back to 6.5". Xr and GT have different thread orientation.
I will update later after a ride. -

I really want to know this. Ages ago I theorised (incorrectly) the rim change was due to a change in magnet size however the now I'm hearing people suggest they're just stronger and it's peaked my interest.
Love to hear if you notice anything.

would stronger magnets , detectably proven to be so, make an xr more powerful? increase speed?

@notsure I think that's what @Lemur is attempting to prove :)
lol wtf did nikola tesla have to say about it??

@lia Ater a 5 km ride, there was no noticeable increase in torque or getting up to speed other than the placeablo effect when I first got on the board. If the magnets are stronger, I didn't feel it, so no magic performance trick here for me. The 6.5 " Endouro had the wobblies for the first few kms then settled down, perhaps from being new.
