@notsure as per my previous post, the town of Toe-chester has some new roads under construction. Weekends and evenings give miles of clean (mostly) wide open tarmac with only the occasional pedestrian and cyclist. It won't be this way forever so I need to make the best of it.

A handful of pics from my trip to the US. I have a bunch but trying not to spam. If you want more of these or keep up visually with what I'm doing I've been using Instagram more.
https://www.instagram.com/comikzink/First up was this beautiful pic I took of @Crow_OW , mine, @cheppy44 and @Demimoto boards on our first ride together towards the end of the day. That night riding back in the complete darkness was a time I will not forget.
@cheppy44 Being the amazing boyfriend he is managed to get this entire bridges lights redone to show our fave colours as a surprise for me when we rode by it on a ride he planned well in advance.
During our time together we rode around an Arboretum which was really pretty and only slightly sullied by some meanie in golfcart telling us we can't ride around here... even though other modes of transport not too dissimilar were allowed. Jobsworth type guy so we didn't fight it.
Another groupride with Nick, Josh, Adam and Alyssa this time
Before leaving me and Nick followed up on the stickers we placed on one of my regular rides by adding a matching pair on his.
(I'm such a criminal, vandalising signs like that)To finish it up on our last ride together I got one clip for an upcoming video in a picturesque area.

UMM it's pronounced Toaster... duh!
-
@notsure toad-easter?
It's a funny old town, where the mythological creatures sit on bridges rather than under them. ;)
-
@lia -- Wonderful to see your smiling eyes!
-
@s-leon Thank you <3
I was really tired too. We got up early to complete the bronze early bird achievement together then did that. -
Just floating around the city I found a fantastic view.
Thanks to the lady who took the photo of me. -
Another great view. Dreadful ride though, they are not fans of gravel in this part of the UK.
-
I'm going to be getting quite a lot of these photos in the coming week and possibly next week too.

Riding country lanes down to the coast.
-
This bridge kinda gives me the fear but the spot is pretty.

The last day of my mini holiday, back home tomorrow.
Board walks are an interesting surface to ride on. -
Last week I went south, this week I have gone north. I rode over 15 miles this evening, a distance PB for me.
And what an evening it was. -
Tonight I rode round a really cool piece of landscape sculpture. She's called Northumberlandia, or Lady of the North, and yes the immature among us (you know who you are) will notice she is quite, ahem, well endowed.
Reckon I can drop this? ;)
-
Tonight I went for another ride along the river Tyne, but travelling the opposite direction.
Trouble train running late

Thought it was over? Nah. I had to time to get a photo with an iconic statue of north east England...
...before stopping for another group ride on the way home. :D
The eagle eyed among you will spot the odd one out. ;)

there's a floatwheel -
Can't believe nobody's asking about the spoiler above ^
Photo from a short country park ride. This bridge thing was fun.

6 mile ride around yet another a country park. It's been wet today for the first time in a week (yes we get good weather in the UK, sometimes) and the board was filthy by the end of it.
