jOneDanXR Ready for a New Home

With a one day XR streak again today, this time OneDanXR is ranked at #3973 -- which means worldwide there are 900 more app-connected XR riders Onewheeling today, Saturday, than were riding Thursday -- almost four thousand XR riders total, today.

Now with eleven days and 103 miles of riding logged, the OneDanXR is ranked number 293 on the XR Daystreak, a jump of 3680 places from day one -- also the OneDanXR is stable at ranking number 105 in XR mileage, only up one place from day one.
Consistently riding in the 20-22 mph range, at over 22 mph the wide T2 tire seems to put more of a wobble in the ride than I like to feel. Pushing speed, the range is not much more than that of a stock Plus -- about seven miles to twenty-some percent. And at low battery, the BadgerSense is more volatile with the cautionary RED jumping up much more easily.
Edit: Oh! And I saw a red fox on the Greenway yesterday -- and very nearly ran over a gray squirrel today. The squirrel darted out, turned and ran back, turned and darted again, feeling the wind of the OneDanXR whooshing past just a very few centimeters from the squirrel's nose.

I think average riding speed affects range more than people think. I would ride that board in the 16-18 mph range and would get 11 or 12 miles of range with the same 20-some percent left with outdoor temps in the 70F range. I've noticed this on the GT as well where I can squeeze out a few more miles by riding around 17 mph instead of my preferred 19/20.
Awesome to see how quickly it's climbing up the leaderboard!

@onedangt -- I agree about speed using up battery, it's the same with my Pluses and EGO batteries -- range is much less at high average speed.

More OneDanXR adventures! A wild turkey ran across the trail a quarter mile ahead of me, highlighted in silhouette. Another half mile down the trail, with interest four whitetail deer watched me coming up, and only once I got close they started, flipped their tails up white, and leisurely bounded into the woods.
And I must be getting comfortable on the OneDanXR, probably because I stopped, focused, and readjusted my foot-stance twice -- it is a little different than my front-heavy Plus. My top speed on the OneDanXR is now up to 23.6 mph -- which is about three-quarters RED on the BadgerSense.

Oh yeah, what mode are you riding? I pretty much locked into delirium on the XR and now I ride apex on the GT.

@onedangt -- Nice photos. Yes! Very much like those -- although the wild turkey I saw was not a displaying tom but a pretty hen. Once in a nearby cemetery I saw and got a photo of another pretty hen and her brood of little goblins.
Mission is the mode in which I ride.

A flash of black, white, and arrest-me-red rapidly across the trail told me I was seeing a pileated woodpecker. A few days ago the bright orange and black of an oriole flashed at about waist height not much more than a reach away as OneDanXR and I zipped along on the Greenway.
Inching up in the XR rankings, OneDanXR is now number 104 with 7265 miles. On the Onewheel Plus Daystreak, with four days and 42 miles, I am up to number 23 -- Pluses seem to be much underappreciated and under-ridden.

Well, Ruth Anne is home from six weeks in mile-high-Denver, knows I have been Onewheeling much of that time, and also knows I now have and ride the OneDanXR. Ruth Anne says she has a new philosophy about me Onewheeling -- something to do with 69 years -- and seems okay with my continuing to ride.

@Lia -- Or anyone! Now that I own and ride the OneDanXR, how do I get the XR next to my name along with V1, Plus, and DIY? -- I do know you have explained it twice, already, but somehow the process is counter-intuitive to my mind.

Looks like you're already in the XR group so if you click on the profile icon in the top right and select "Edit Profile" as below it'll take you to the right settings.
In there you will see "Group Title".
Here you can select which appear next to your name.
To have multiple shown hold CTRL and select the ones you want which will become highlighted like below.
When selected just scroll down and hit save :)
