@LOAFFETTE The cable swap was mint! Looks intimidating at first but I guess if you defo have the right pinout then it’s just a case of patience and heat.

@Sirgu I went with some generic bearing grease on Amazon as I didn’t have a whole lot of time left to wait for any specialist grease for the specific application. Afaik for this use case it’s mostly about keeping water out so the thicker stuff seemed appropriate. High speed grease maybe if you wanna ensure no performance loss since normal greases increase the rolling resistance a fair bit once packed well.

More than just laser-etched S/N on rails matching to controller S/N ... don't they look after all the stickers and embedded labels all over other parts to verify it's the actual complete board? Not the one built to be appearing as 'complete' but broken. Following out of curiosity ...

I tried a goat a few weeks ago but that GT also had the latest firmware so I was always trying to figure which I was feeling at play when off road. I'm still rocking the OG GT treaded so I'm not super fussed on the hard edges. I'm definitely a bit of a fringe rider with my preferences 😅

Defo will try to if we do Opensauce next year. Big IF because I'm not sure yet if we're going. Wish we had planned to stay longer this year but tbh we didn't think we'd be up to much like the time before. Sacramento will be on the todo list and we'll give you a heads up if we're in the area 🥰

My onewheel plus started showing 4.2 at full charge instead of 3.6 for the lifepo on only one cell. This gave me some reassurance that the BMS is just false reporting after a certain voltage because i notice it does fine all the way till around 3.6 than cell group 1 just skyrockets to the high 4s which would most likely have exploded the battery several times over if it were true as ive only just noticed and have been charging it to 58.4v for years. Im not as skilled as you so im just gonna leave it as is, overcharge warning has only shut the board off on me one time and never while riding, only when i came to a full stop after running downhill. Thanks for the write up!
