GT rails whats peoples opinions?

So I have had a GT for a while and I have noticed like people say the GT is higher
off the ground also with the added weight it makes the ride different.
The XR feels so much lighter to ride now when I go back and ride that and also I notice how
lower to the ground I am and how going over bumps feels different dare I say easier.
Whats peoples opinions on the various GT rails out there?
Do they improve the ride feel?
Is there a set of rails that people would hands down recommend?
Would love to hear peoples thoughts. -
@wheelwizard It's something you can totally get used to. One of my mates Alicia sill rides stock rails and she raced in RFTR so I think it's mostly just learning the new feel. That said I much prefer the lowered feel.
I ride WTF Steep & Deep rails. I only picked them because last Black Friday TFL listed the price for those super low. Like actually a steal so I went for them. I've tried standard ones too and they're just as good. Feel super locked in like I used to feel on the XR.
Black Friday is around the corner again so definitely get a set of rails during the sales if you find a set you like.

I have got used to the GT ride I just wondered if I was missing out as I see a lot of riders riding other rails and was wondering what they felt like and the benefits.
Like you said the wtf's give you the lowered ride which you like.
I have seen quite a few riding dub tails as well which you don't have to worry about tilt adjustment with. -
@wheelwizard Fingers crossed. I read somewhere that the super low price was a mistake on their part but like the legends they are they kept the price.
I will say with the WTF's I cannot nudge to save my life. I see others do it but when I try I bottom out the bumper close to the wheel so if it's something you wanna do in future I think it makes it a little harder.
That's my experience though. I end up cheating by locking in the fins and dragging it up and over.

@wheelwizard I have a set of the standard GT WTFs, and I like them. A GT will never ride as nice as an XR platform board, but WTFs will at least give you the best possible ride for the platform.
Note, I also have standard WTFs on my XR platform VESC.

@lia thank you :) it was a bit weird for the first few minutes as I have a different tyre now as well but you feel more locked in at the back and I’m liking it so far.
