VOW has done it again. Yet another amazing creation. A hub mounted controller and stacked cells either side 🤯

The Cannoncore was begging for this to be done at some point.
VOW has created and intends to sell some of his work to mount a Thor300 or other similar sized VESCs inside the FloatWheel Cannoncore.
Funnilly enough Tony has mentioned he also considered this and made their kit slender for this purpose but never finished the concept. Likewise me and @cheppy44 were actually in the pre-prototyping phase of actually doing this too. Gotta admit the wind's been take out my sail a little seeing it done before we got a shot at trying but honestly he's done such an amazing job I'm just happy to see it work!
Hopefully we'll see this in action. There are some limitations with it and it appears we're dealing with diminishing returns on weight to overall functionality value. However I imagine with the right balance of components and power you could find that goldilocks zone.

@lia VOW is WOW! Making that happen is nothing short of genius. I'm still a little bit concerned about the heat, it is winter down there right now and I'd like to see more info in 5 months.

@biell He's amazing. Really pushing the development of how we do things.
He did bring up heat being a bit of an issue.
Considering the major heat elements have been put together I wonder if we may need to look at some more active cooling methods. -
@lia It looks like after further testing there were some heat issues. But, when confronted with problems, Engineers just engineer around them.
And, so we have the improved V2 design. I actually really like what he did here because I wasn't too thrilled about the waterproofing in V1.

@biell What a legend!
This one is so much better. I do wonder how fiddly the glands will be coming right off the axle but like this looks really cool!
