FM are selling parts!
-
@lemur Absolutely! This is a big Win for consumers. Fantastic news.
-
Good news and cheaper than I expected.
-
@lia wow, nice! so tempting. now i need enough coin to cover one of everything, lol.
-
I feel ashamed
I just posted about this and neglected to see this post ; - ; -
@loaffette Aha no problem <3
It's exciting news! -
@lia they are offering parts for the Plus and the original onewheel though, but it's only the bumper
-
@loaffette A lot of the XR parts are derivative from the original V1. Other than stuff like the battery harness a lot of this can be used still. Power button, headlights, lids and gaskets etc will work on the V1 and Plus.
Since those 2 models were part of a recall program it wouldn't make sense to advertise parts for them. The bits they do have specifically for the older models are on closeout so once they're sold they're gone for good.
The original Plus bumpers before the XR style ones don't appear to work. When I try to add those to my cart the page errors. However I can still get the V1 bumpers which I got just in case ^-^

How did it go, @Lia ? Did you forfeit the idea adding Plus bumpers to your cart or you reached out to FM and got those listed eventually?
EDIT:
I did spot some errors as well. Seemingly they are still building up and improving this "Parts"-side sector of a shop. -
@sirgu I ended up not going for the plus bumpers. I sort of like the XR style ones more but didn't fancy spending too much as I'd have to get them back to the UK eventually anyway. When I came back in Jan I had to buy extra luggage and spent 2 days min-maxing the bags weight and volume ratio plus if it's carryon or checked.
I ended up with a mountain of charge plug protectors, GT charge port, GT/Pint button, Spare Maghandle bolt, XR Pins, Stickers and the V1 Bumpers :)

LOL!
Do you occasionally mount them on door stoppers or what? -
