2022 plans?
-
Anyone got any OW plans this year they wish to start, continue or hopefully finish?
Maybe a certain place to ride around or finally get around to doing that group ride you always wanted to try.
Or... like me has it not quite sunk in we're in 2022 yet.
For me I've got a few long scenic rides planned to hopefully accomplish when it gets warmer and finish up existing projects like the XS, PintX battery box and custom gear for the Pint.

@lia just a video idea... should be fun.

@lia , Agreed ... hasn't quite sunk in that we are in 2022. That said, I'd like to try a group ride this year ... after I fix my front footpad sensor/lights issue.

bringing Frankenboard to life, anybody got an xr batterybox w/bms?
-
@lia My plans for this year, ride the GT (when it comes) build an improved version of the suspension build and put more mileage on my entry level Inmotion v8.
-
@lemur Can't wait to see what you do with the suspension. The prior one already looked super clean and useful so any improvements will be amazing no doubt.
I've seen a few like that floating around eBay, are they any good?
-
@lia I've only ridden the Inmotion V8 and the Kingsong S18, so I'm still in the learning stage (700 kms). The V8 is light and forgiving, but not very powerful. Not my thing, but I always like try something different.
I went on a long ride on the suspension build and it exceeded my expectations, but with a couple of flaws.
One flaw was the tail would touch on hard braking due to the suspension squat, I have to change the geometry to raise the board up.
The other is the Plus controller with the early pushback, especially with the Pint tire. I will change to an Xr controller if I can find a cheap XR board. -
@lemur said in 2022 plans?:

That's something I'd have never considered. Guess the only real option is to angle the tail section up a little like Flight Fins TailRails.
Hope you can find one, if I spot anything on Reddit I'll let you know :)
