Plus harness to XR conversion, I also posted on FB

Converting a Plus harness to a XR harness...
This is my second harness conversion, the first one is working great.
The only difference is one extra black wire and the connectors at the battery box. Part of Plus outer sheathing is removed and I used a steel mig wire with the extra black wire soldered on to thread the wire through the ferrite ring.
With the sheathing removed, it's easy to spot kinked wires and to repair or straighten them out.
The last picture is the wire bundle shrink wrapped with two layers and the connectors that would be used for the XR Bms, needs a xt60 too.
This particular conversion is still going back into my Plus and will be ready for the conversion to a XR. I have too many XRs right now. -
@lemur I need to implement some sort of award system here so I can merit this with a MacGyver badge or something. I love it, nice work on the repair and conversion.
Pics are super helpful too, didn't actually know the XR had an extra pin compared to the Plus.I have too many XRs right now.
Blasphemy, can never have too many!

@lemur It looks like your new black wire is a smaller gauge. Did you need to do that to get it to fit through the ferrite ring, or was that just what you had?

@biell The Plus wires are thicker than the XR , I built a harness from scratch with 28 gauge wires and that's what I had.
The wires conduct very low amperage and mostly carry data except for the light bar wires.
