Onewheel GT, something wrong after bearing change.

@onesweedwheel Oh an adjustable hose clamp. That's a cool way to try hold it in place.
It does sound like the connector might be causing trouble. You can buy a new retaining ring from FM though if yours is busted.

Hi lia thanks for your support. "motor connector. On the motor side of the cable measure resistance between each of the 3 large contacts" what do you mean with the 3 large contacts? Im totally stranger to this stuff but i learn i guess ;) is this the contacts you are talking about?
-
@onesweedwheel Welcome <3
Sorry I was a little unclear.
On the connector that you plug into the controller there's 3 big contacts. Measuing between them should get a similar resistance value.
If those give you values measuring between each from one to the other then we can rule out the phases on the motor being out at least. Ideally your connector pins should be nice and shiny too like the pic above :) If any are blackened that might be why it's not working.

You know, Tech-Rails has 'a must' thingy for GT shredders.

As Matthew itself has stated - this 3D-printed part is selling like crazy. Apparently there's reason for that. -
@sirgu off topic but oh shit I know the guy in that vid!
-
@lia what should the resistance be btw?
-
@loaffette I don't know what it should be exactly but a value should be present. If the issue is the phases I expect the broken one to give OL.
-
@lia did not manage to try this yesterday, tonight i will give it a try. Thanks alot for help!

So its definitely something wrong here becouse one of the connector pins gives no "connection" at all. It also do not look that shiny and nice like the picture you posted. So now i have to figure out if/what i can do about it and what the next step in troubleshooting would be. Again thanks and if you have more suggestions please :)
-
@onesweedwheel Glad you were able to find the issue although it's a shame it has to be on the motor connector itself. I don't think that can be cleaned up unless anyone else has any suggestions. I think it might need replacing.
You might be able to get one of the 3rd party service centres to replace the cable/connector for less than FM would charge for a new motor. Worth seeing if there are any nearby places from https://www.stokelifeservice.com/ that can help out with the replacement.
You're not alone, this has happened to a few Pints and GTs so I would hope there is a nice inexpensive solution by now :)

Idk how it's been progressing in meanwhile but this very first videoclip here ...

... is very familiar with this phenomenon :
https://www.facebook.com/100006478572810/videos/214854787933629/Although yours is GT, the one there is XR. But all the weird functioning is alike. @onesweedwheel if you happen to have an account - you might wanna go through those FB comments right there.

@onesweedwheel said in Help please, i try to find some help here once again..:
I still have same problem with my board and i cant figure out what the problem is.. i did find a small service/shop were i live and they have been trying to help me but no luck..the guy that helped me told me that hall sensor i s looking good and he did fix the motor cable but i stil have same noise and impossible board to ride..i also did swap front footpad so i got a brand new one this time.
-
@onesweedwheel By chance do you know anyone with a GT you could swap motors with and see if the fault follows the motor or the rest of the board?
Starting to wonder if something is up in the controller :(
