@NotSure You could probably push it, they went down that 25degree hill pretty quick. I'd imagine when TFL get their hands on it you'll see it put to the test. There's a hidden BMX downhill run I found near me that the XR barely coped with so hoping to see if I can cruise that on this.
@HorsePlay Agreed, looks like a real good time. Hope to see how it performs (and gives me an oppertunity to give Slushy some TLC. Poor thing's in need of some love and parts)
@Franko I still don't know how anyone does that. Must be some sort of natural reflex to keep their feet on the pad without floating off it.. Seeing riders bonk up multiple steps without fins still boggles my mind.

i can go off of (small) curbs, but i haven't attempted to learn to go up them. stuff like this seems super-human to me. in muddy conditions, no less!

i don't bounce like i used to lol...
i just wanna be able to keep up with traffic on the flats too.
my avg speed when i snowboard is 35mph. thats fairly comfortable for me on a groomed slope.
-
@Franko Me too, I'll drop a curb here and there but going up something sounds like a quick way to see how well my helmet slides.
Wish I could find the vid, you basically see the tire absorb the step then bounce over it with loads of air when done right. Must have been a TFL or WheelFunStuff video.@NotSure I know I don't, plan on working on that though with better fall technique and not.... whatever I do now lol. Top speed was increased but if the pushback is like the Pint then it might be harder to edge the board into the
dangerspeedy zone. I'm not a speed person but I'll let you know what I get out of it :) -
@lia yeah that aggressive pushback might be a deal breaker. i'll wait n see.
but i usually don't ride with high heels on tho... usually...

you sound similar to me. i've been pushing my fear level lately and trying to get 40+ mph on my snowboard, but it's gotta be on runs i'm very familiar with. Now, on my Pint, i'm good at just under the max speed. i don't ride my Pint for speed, i ride it to cruise and have a casual ride.

@notsure Oh no make it stop D:

@franko its my ankles and knees now. if its really smooth with soft 'corduroy' i can push 60. scary as shit tho when stuff gets choppy and tbh that was over 10 yrs ago.
-
@notsure 60!! ok, i take it back. you're waaay better than me, haha.

well, now you're slowing down to my max speeds on a good day, let's just put it that way. 😬
-
@franko time sucks...

since it deep in snowbo season right now, i just wanted to drop in and comment that i am a total spead freak on the snowboard, but i don't really push past 16mph on the onewheel. maybe go a little crazier on dirt trails, but pavement, hell no. snowboards won't turn off on you like the onewheel! fuck that
