This picture was posted on FB, it's the end that plugs into the board to charge the GT.
I can't read the chip, can anyone figure or guess out what this does?
The op doesn't have it anymore, but he's going to open up his spare charger end when he gets it.gt charge plug.jpg

@lemur oh man. the hall sensors are next. they'll be no swapping anything eventually. locked down to the point of hegemony. guess what happens next.

        XR's got what plants crave!

@lemur I'm at a loss on this one, it's too small to be handling a chunk of current so I doubt it's short circuit or spark protection.

Fingers crossed it's actually useful and not something to stop us using 3rd party chargers... oh no it's totally that isn't it!

@lia Sounds like a spark protection as I don't see or hear the spark with the GT while plugging the charge plug, like you suspected.

@lemur Hopefully that's the case, after blowing up a live XLR connector once; something like that would be good. The little pop everytime I plug my board in makes me jump just thinking about it.

@lia I got the number on the chip.
TS16E13 CDGE70620, but can't find anything on those numbers. Chi battery owner supplied that number.

@lemur Tough one to find, I guess they took no other pics of the back of the board too?
