@lia it was! that rain made for one of the best years i can remember in a long, long time. it was fantastic. kinda hoping it rains again this year, but alas, the long-range forecast is looking like a totally normal (perhaps even slightly cooler) year.

"Thank you for that advice! So I got home and I opened it all up and everything looked great, unfortunately lol. I was hoping I would see something that was obvious but it looked pristine once I got the cover off. The good news is I got it to work… The bad news is… I don't know how. I started pushing down on things just to see if anything was loose and then all of a sudden the light comes on. A couple minutes later I was doing something and the light went off and then I pushed down again and the light came back on. so I went ahead and connected everything back together and the light stayed on and I was able to ride it but now I'm worried it's going to shut off. 😬😬😬 I can't trust it to ride it rn because I can only assume I would nosedive."

So I managed to become a beta tester for the haptic buzz for VESC.

It’s a trip hearing and feeling the motor buzz, but it only feels like if someone strapped a vibration motor to my board and kept spinning it

@notsure i checked just before i left, and it was 15.5 psi. not a lot of hills, mostly flat streets. i did get a low percentage of regen going down those hills (like 3%, if i recall).

not sure if everyone has seen this or not, but it's pretty interesting to see FM's perspective on all this. i had to laugh that Kyle says at the beginning, "I kinda think we destroyed boredom a little too hard, haha -- i could use a little boredom right now."

@b0ardski i love the idea of matching rails! i picked this color because at certain angles it takes on a greenish tint like the sage rails i have, so it still works in my mind, but rails that changed color like that, hmmmm..... so tempting!

@notsure well, it's not like Southern (or even Northern) California, but we do get a lot of sun and clear days. Here in the north we get snow and ice in the winter (which i love), but it eats into my time with my Onewheel. i haven't ridden it in months -- but then again, i've been snowboarding : )
