I have this habit of promising my board a good clean after she does a good job of getting me home each long ride and accidentally forgetting to do so. Been on my mind recently after a chat with one of my friendo's ElectricNici who psted a vid about maintaining her eScooter.

As usual all my braincells are only firing at 2am and I remembered the other night to do it. Too late to do a proper clean but I can get by with the bearings and hub.

Few drops of oil on the bearing covers to pool up the gunk then I gently rub it away with a cotton swab, being extra careful not to push it under the seal. I usually put too much oil in so I give it a good smear round the hub since oil cleans metal up real nice as you can see below :)

Looks almost new (the hub, nothing else lol). Anyone else got some cleaning and maintenance tips to share?

@lia air duster spray for the crevices. i use extra wide transparent gorilla tape on the bottom for the extra abrasion resistance.

        XR's got what plants crave!

@notsure Good idea, I've got a little air compressor meant for airbrushing. Wonder if that's got the stones to blow out the debris in the crevices.
