@theadman haha nice one dood! I’m the same man, I just got to #100 on GT day streaks, my aim is to do 100 days as we going snowboarding at new year so will have to end then, wonder where I’ll be then lol….can’t see ever making super high on the GT but maybe a Pint that I could take on flights then could commit to riding every day!

@teddybeavis thanks, I'm aiming for the 100 days achievement too, which will leave me in the back end of November. From then who knows, the board is pretty addictive but I've not ridden it when it's below 10c yet.
Edit: I don't think they'll let you take the batteries on flights. -
@theadman haha yeah man I’m not sure how I’m gonna cope with the very low temps either, much prefer shorts and tee and blazing sun but gotta make do here in the UK I guess!
Yeah man apparently the original pint has small enough battery that it’s allowed on flights. Need to double check with the airline I guess but would be so awesome if so.

Another shake-up on the Leaderboard listing order of Onewheel models -- this time the two most popular models, GT and XR, are at the top. This way makes good sense to me.

I've cracked the top 40, let's see if I can complete 100 days before haptic buzz becomes available and mandatory for the XR, at which point I will just stop using FM app.

@theadman You should be able to use the app to still log a daystreak. It will pop up asking to upgrade the board and lock out the "board" screen but so long as you never do the data should still sync.

@theadman Bad news. With my Pint if you connect to the board it locks the page out regardless of what you're on and stops syncing data once it appears. I did a ride and the screen popped up. Kept going and then closed/reopened to see the ride. All data after the firmware warning shows up is lost so even if you ignore it and keep the ride going it doesn't seem to log it.
For rides you may want to use the Strava app which is what a lot of cyclists/PEV riders along with a number of Onewheelers that don't use the official app rely on for ride logs.

It's being able to see other local rides which is good too, not sure if any of the others feature that. Someone local to me did 62 miles in one go, how cool is that! ;)
I could deal with the haptic buzz update if I know for sure it's not going to slow the board down like some pint X users are reporting, and block mods like extended range batteries. I just don't know if it won't, so I won't risk it. -
Well, that's the end of a streak for me...
2 years 311 days, rain, snow, ice, hail, had it all.... (1041 days)
Rode 5 miles last night that never registered.
Woke this morning to find the immortal words "No Daystreak"
I am miffed the say the least.FM can't help apparently.... I found this hard to swallow.
Seems a bit strange it happened just as the app was being updated to allow for the GT S !!!
Done over by a glitch it seems.

Silver lining though. Apparently some storm is rolling in soon that you won't feel compelled to ride in!

Haha, I have obviously started again/continued (in reality) but now I don't care if it's raining as I think "nothing lost now"
If the board dies it doesn't matter.
Come rain or shine I just like riding. 😉

For me, I don't think I've actually even had a whole year long daystreak -- although I once did have a many mile streak in the Northeast Ohio winter half of a year.
Snow expected tonight, up to five inches. I'm making progress on my goal of holding places 1,2,3,4 -- the first two on mileage, and the second two on daystreak. Getting there with currently a 1,2,3... 6. I just need 40% of the Onewheel Plus Daystreak riders to drop off... Ha! Not likely soon, if ever.

As you have mentioned, patience is going to be the key.

I've got to say the temperate UK is more likely to allow a longer daystreak than maybe Ohio ....
