@puzz360 Thank you ๐ฅฐ
Usually it's a nice little field...

Over the last 4 years Iโve made a trek to the base of Palmyra Peak. Here is a picture from this yearโs ride. -
Had a bit of spare time earlier so went for a short float along Hove/Brighton seafront.
Here's what's left of the old West Pier with the Brighton Pier in the distance
And...
David Gilmour's house on Hove seafront...
(Pink Floyd, if you didn't know that, shame on you ๐ hahaha) -
@puzz360
Note to the Pink Floyd reference, I'm a bit of a Floyd nut... Which, being just behind "Ontheturningaway" on the leaderboard is funny because he's a Floyd fan too ๐๐๐
Nice one. -
If you received your Christmas gifts on time you can thank me. Santa borrowed my GT-S to make his sleigh ride deliveries last night. Apparently Rudolph went to a Christmas Eve party and got pulled over for failure to dim his headlights. -
Hey everyone. A lot of really awesome pics! It's cool to see there's folks putting in some good rides in the UK.
This is my XR Classic I just got, on its maiden voyage.
This was my first time riding and I only did a few miles back and forth on a closed road, reaching a riveting speed of 7mph. I've got a long way to go!
Managed to avoid falling off, but did put some little gouges in the rails when I jumped off it a few times. ;_; Trying not to be precious about it as I do like the bare rails look so it's gonna happen, but for science I'm 3D printing up some railguards. Hoping I got the measurements right - it's my first time making my own 3D model instead of just printing someone else's.
I've also printed a removable fender and the 2nd part of the fender delete is just about finished printing - the deletes were someone else's design for the GT that I modified a bit to fit this (I can try to find it again if someone needs) and the drop top design is the floatwheel one apparently. Fingers crossed it all works together. Also had to order some longer bolts as my test print of the deletes showed the stock ones were too short.I'm hoping not to have to use the fender all the time but even just on a fairly short ride I kept having to tip it over to get little mounds of gravel off the footpads so I figure it'll be nice to have.
Anyway I'm hoping to get in more practice tomorrow!

@rainycloudy Congrats on getting an XRC and first ride in!
Surprisingly a lot of us in the UK now and a handful floating around here too who I'm sure will chime in soon.What part of the UK are you riding around? There's a few groups like the midlands if you're interested in joining in on some group rides now the weather is sloooowly getting better ๐ฅฐ

@lia I'm in Edinburgh, hoping to ride further afield eventually but for now I'll stick to quiet spots close to home.
I know there are at least a few dedicated riders around here as I can see them on the onewheel map.
I've found it just fits in my 70L duffel bag which I can wear on my back so I should be able to take it on train journeys... hoping to try to make it to a couple of events this year.Better weather is eagerly awaited - everything I wanna do this year is outdoors!

@rainycloudy Oh yeah there's a few up in Scotland. They're great!
If you're on FB there's the Onewheel Riders Collective https://www.facebook.com/groups/1100231991134653/ that have a few members all around including more local to you so totally ask around there if you're wanting some ride friends ^-^ -

It's a growing family
Moved the boards to the bedroom since the wall along the workshop isn't big enough anymore. Making that new stand to house them all (except the XS, I just wanted to put it alongside the others)Funny โบ๏ธ, love it โฆ
