Hey everyone. A lot of really awesome pics! It's cool to see there's folks putting in some good rides in the UK.

This is my XR Classic I just got, on its maiden voyage.

This was my first time riding and I only did a few miles back and forth on a closed road, reaching a riveting speed of 7mph. I've got a long way to go!

Managed to avoid falling off, but did put some little gouges in the rails when I jumped off it a few times. ;_; Trying not to be precious about it as I do like the bare rails look so it's gonna happen, but for science I'm 3D printing up some railguards. Hoping I got the measurements right - it's my first time making my own 3D model instead of just printing someone else's.

I've also printed a removable fender and the 2nd part of the fender delete is just about finished printing - the deletes were someone else's design for the GT that I modified a bit to fit this (I can try to find it again if someone needs) and the drop top design is the floatwheel one apparently. Fingers crossed it all works together. Also had to order some longer bolts as my test print of the deletes showed the stock ones were too short.

I'm hoping not to have to use the fender all the time but even just on a fairly short ride I kept having to tip it over to get little mounds of gravel off the footpads so I figure it'll be nice to have.

Anyway I'm hoping to get in more practice tomorrow!

@lia I'm in Edinburgh, hoping to ride further afield eventually but for now I'll stick to quiet spots close to home.
I know there are at least a few dedicated riders around here as I can see them on the onewheel map.
I've found it just fits in my 70L duffel bag which I can wear on my back so I should be able to take it on train journeys... hoping to try to make it to a couple of events this year.

Better weather is eagerly awaited - everything I wanna do this year is outdoors!
