Debut of my new ride. Took forever to get it running but she’s a great little machine. Photogenic just like her sisters 🥰

@lia It was really nice! I had like 2400 miles there alone with 175k feet/54k meters elevation just in a year. Quiet roads, some nice trails and amazing view all around! Also conveniently placed charging points.
Btw nice new ride! You built on GT platform as I see. What are the specs?

@scabaa Oh wow there are just sockets around available to use?? That must be sooooo good for those rides. I'm still daisy chaining starbucks and McDonalds for reliable sockets here in middle England😭
Are the locals chill about you riding?

GT platform all the way. It's just better for putting power in safely. I'm using:

@lia IOM locals are super nice. They were more like interested in what is that I am riding haha.. more like amazed :D
I've used normal car charging points which were in good locations. I used one of these for that:

But now in North of England and I am not really blessed with any public charging points.. none of those are next to any trails/routes.

Your new board looks pretty solid with those specs! I was also thinking about getting a broken GT and GTFO it. You should have decent power with SFHT and good range still with the battery!

Also Isle of Man is super safe. I could just leave my onewheel on the charger like this.. go for toilet, have some food and nobody is touching it.. even if you leave it there for an hour like this:

@lia is that a new frame Lia or is that the one from your original GT?

@scabaa Ah I see. I was hoping for regular outlets but that's probably never happening. Super cool you can just leave it like that without a worry.
I ride super lean so no backpack. Just the charger dangling off my hip from a carabiner in a lil bag with some misc bits alongside. Not sure I could pack the adapter 😅 Good shout though!

Personally would have preferred a HS but it's whatevs. She's got more range than my prior GT that's in retirement with the rest of the boards :3 Defo a good conversion especially if you can swap out the hypercore for a SF.

@Wheelwizard Different board. Built it from bits I acquired over time then used my Fungineer privilege's to get the missing bits I needed ^-^ Rides like a dream with just a few tweaks but I'll probably go over all the settings in vesc tool to make sure I'm not leaving anything on the table. So far it's just better than my GT was with the same battery. BTG seemingly making offroad less of a battery drain too which is nice.
