LIGHTBAR QUERIE

hi folks.My Pint lightbar has suddenly started to behave differently..when i plug charge in the light bar lights up showing current battery life..then lights go off..im sure the lights stayed on whilst charging showing you the progress..then when red light turns green on charger ..I switch the pint on and light bar still shows battery life as not charged...the app shows 100% and few minutes later the light bar goes to full.. strange..the board rides qnd behaves totally normal

@captn-danford do you use the hyper charger or do tricks? Speed charging can burn out the bms.

@captn-danford If it's riding and behaving normally I'd be willing to say it's probably fine.
A bit weird still. Does the lightbar only go off when fully charged or just randomly during charge? -
@lia yeh its as soon as i plug charger in..lights come on..then go off..it still takes few hours for charger to turn green as normal..im wondering if theres a way to reset the whole thing..like factory reset etc

@captn-danford Odd, just tried mine and it doesn't do that plus I don't see a setting to toggle off the lightbar in the app.
If you have the app loaded does it give any sort of error code or recognise it's charging in the app?
In any case it might be worth hitting up FM just to ask in case they changed something that didn't affect my really old Pint.

@lia i havent checked the app while im charging... I will also contact support from the link you sent.. ill keep you posted.

@captn-danford Mine does although I haven't kept an eye on it for a full charge since it doesn't get as much use as the others for me to notice. How long does yours take roughly to go off?

@lia id say 10 seconds. as i say sometimes it doesnt come on at all..the board works and performs fine other than that..just q bit strange

@captn-danford Mine definitely stays on longer than that. Really weird occurrence.
Fingers crossed FM come back with something useful, glad it's at least working normally otherwise :) -
