Widget issue after FM's OW app version 2.5.18

Anyone here (with Android) in habit using OW app widget? I don't see people talking about it much anywhere, assuming there's not many with such issue.
Anyways ... I've always loved custom layout widget on behalf of (rather) tiny app icon. Much easier to reach during ride for minor tweaks or in need of advanced information/stats. Now after recent update it's not fully-functioning anymore. Battery % and range (obtained from app) are there ... but click-to-launch and click-to-wake is gone. Respectively to these actions I need to have app shortcut icon alongside with the widget at home screen. Which is ridiculous waste obviously.
-By raw chance anyone in the same boat with me? Or any thoughts?

@sirgu I wonder if this might be a widget thing in general. On IOS I have the goggle calendar on my screen but clicking it never opens as of recently. Same for my Nuki door lock :( Wonder if there's some dependency everyone used that got borked.
Wasn't aware this was a feature on the app though, pretty useful tbh. That said I've made a habit not to look at my phone when riding after my first wipeout checking if I was going under the speed limit on a private road.

It is! Especially if u r wearing full gloves underneath your wrist guards and cannot navigate touch-screen properly.
(The same reason i have smartwatch with physical buttons to gain me basic information needed.)Habit of not grabbing ur phone not too often on ride is a good one! But sometimes there's a need for. Like quick swap onto "Custom Mode" (and back) via the widget.
If FM is not solving this, I'll most likely downgrade to v.2.5.17 for good. All of the updates are in favour to GT & PintX anyways and make no real difference for others. Each time I see it popping up on Google Play Store I'm like "Umm, should I .. or ... let pass ..... or ... should turn it .. off."

Aah, what a relief!!! - It`s working again!
Not just widget but this f'ing picky og FM app in general.In agony trying to solve things a ~month ago I ended up re-installing the whole thing ... by proceeding so, got this "Online activation failed" popup again as on the day I got my board.
(I don`t quite remember being so mad at myself in near past. - Should have left alone the widget convenience if only the app continues to function by syncing the phone and board.)
Most likely I should put down everything the other day without overflowing emotions. In case it helps anyone. Most likely none in the same boat in this forum. But reddit has numerous discussions about "activation failed / connection error" ... and none of those worked out for me.
The most last thing left to do was to factory-reset the phone. Luckly I didn't got to that point.
