Add your boards as flair to your name
-
Made some groups that you can join for each of the board types (including DIY)
.
How do I join a group and add a flair?
At the top of the page will be a group icon
Inside are a list of groups that you can click on
When in you can click "join group"
If you join a group you can then go to your profile, choose "edit profile" you can select which of the groups show. Hold "CTRL" to select multiple.
After saving these will show beside your name on posts :)
I can change the colour of these, shall I make them all the FM blue or are there any preferences to maybe custom colours for certain models?

@lia holy cow, this is great! thanks for thinking of this.
-
@franko Glad you like it :)
Can add other groups too for other things if needed, these ones for the time being made sense. -
@lia ok, i'm a dork... how do i join a group? 😵💫
-
@franko -- Ha! I can't seem to figure out how to join groups either.
-
-
Added the "join group" instructions to the top with the "adding flair to name" so it should give instruction from start to finish :)
-
@lia thank you! i'm glad i wasn't alone, haha. i was looking through my profile page and thinking i was just missing something obvious!
-
@franko No problem, it's not very obvious how to do it. Especially with essentially 2 settings options on the profile.
-
@lia -- Hmmm... While I hack away and mod my boards some, I am hesitant to claim "DIY" because "VESC" seems like a whole category of its own. Maybe it should have its own label. Maybe one day I will build one, but in the meantime I will keep tinkering with EGO battery placement design, secure attachment options, and funky fender/platforms.

@s-leon Honestly I'd say you've earned the DIY flair if you choose to use it :)
Your board is a testament to the versatility of a Onewheel and how you can customise and replace parts while still retaining the soul of the board.You should totally open topic under Mods & DIY to document your journey building, replacing and repairing your board. I honestly love seeing what you manage to do with it and I think it would be cool to see how it evolves :D
Hope you've been healing up well too, how has it been?

@lia -- Thank you.
