Idk. It is priced at what the PintX was so technically still better for the money but I'd still want those little QOL bumps for an S series.

Also that screen snippy you posted shows that bumper edge they mentioned which I couldn't spot on my first viewing. Pretty big so maybe that is for the rail guards like they suggested.

Or perhaps a temporary measure until they can sell leveling kits?? maybe that's wishful thinking... it's a potential revenue stream. i get it. I understand the rationale too.

That said - I hoped they learned a lesson about working with small niche consumer markets. Shit went sideways real quick last time huh?! lol...

we are going to use something called Bullet and each article/page is going to be it's own google document

It requires some weird HTML stuff but we're gonna give it a go

We also found out that Notion may give you unlimited pages if you only use one account to edit it (I think)

So, how is my board doing?
Well, actually! I haven't had many issues with it, and it's been fine. I re-did the o-rings on the axle, and I've done some small tweaking to the foot hooks. Thanks and shoutout to VOW for the free foothook design, and Onewheel Parts for hooking me up with their quickies, those things are indestructible.

Since last July, I've had to replace my footpad sensor twice. Great, and I had to buy one for a higher price from someone else since StokedStock is no longer with us.
I am now considering either a magnetic-style footpad, or using one of those pressure sensors for car seats

Apparently, the VESC peeps engineered a way to use a little magnet that you tie to your ankle as a way to activate and deactivate your footpad. It uses a mangetic sensor, and it's pretty neato

Troque Box is holding up, but i may need to 3D print a new battery box or shell out the cash for the torque box 2

New tire too. The Thundercat didn't last as long as the previous tires, the sidewall probably gave out around mid-feb, lasting about 7-ish months before it would loose air. By the time I decided i was done re-airing the tire every few days, it was mid-june and the tire would go flat over the course of a 90 minute lecture.

I am going to replace the battery soon. 18s2p would be the easy and sensible route, but since I'm going to college near a major city now, I can actually go to group rides weekly!

also I've found that while I have mellowed out in the past year or two and I'm not trying to hit 80-80 duty cycle, I'd like some more headroom. 26s1p was on the table for a bit because of my 120V Ennoid, but I was told that I'd have to charge my board no more than 4.09V, nullifying the need for the battery. 24s2p split pack scares the hell out of me (My old ride group had a couple split pack issues and one fire from one), and 24s2p with 18650 using a SuperSpeed Box would be VERY expensive, and with that kind of money, I'd already be going for the fifth option. Fourth Option was a 24s1P pack made for PintV, but my gut didn't like that one.

I decided after talking with some engineering buddies I know and people who can handle money better than I can that spending more money now on a much better setup is worth it in the long term.
I am going to have to get a 150V Ennoid. I was told to contact Ennoid about seeing what can be done about my 120V, but apparently he's on vacation until next week, so I'll have to wait.

30S1P on RS50 should give me similar range as my ME4T pack, but an exponentially more amount of the pucker factor in terms of raw power.
I'm still in shock that I'm even ORDERING a 30s1p pack, let alone going to install one.

So, yay
Probably time to start looking at Leatt gear and to probably get life insurance.

Using the quickies from OneWheelParts, I'm designing a clip that bolts onto the unused holes so I can carry around the board like a duffel bag. Supposed to be a one day print, but my printer (Now a heavily modified SV08 which could honestly have it's own form post) is tempermental about ASA.
If I get it done tonight or tomorrow, I will share pictures

there's some random issue with the board randomly nose-diving, though I have no reason why. My solder joins are pretty spot on and is pretty good

@puzz360 yep, I've had that happen before

I don't like carrying around umbrellas since I find them to be a hassle to carry, and I often end up just throwing on rain gear and calling it a day.

@loaffette I scooped on this last time and got a pair of magnetic fenders for my Pint X that I ride in Hawaii. Got a black one I could bang up when I first started riding it and when I'm being more daring and the purple palm decorative one I use for my safer daily rides. Quite a deal!

I've wanted to do similar. Tip to tip of the UK from Scotland all the way down to lands end but looking at the route I didn't fancy solo'ing that sort of adventure lol.

Bandgersense users, heads up, your badgersense LED strip won't fit, and your little weird block that goes on the motor axle is going to have excess cable.

You will need the badgersight if you do not have a way to mount the LED strip. I will work on LED strip mounting solution later on.

@lia thanks! It was literaly done with machines acrylic, printer paper and 3M adhesive. The printer paper works pretty well, actually!
