In a small public restroom, for lack of a better place to put my helmet, I set it in the sink. Oh no! It activated the hands-free sensor and filled the shell half-full tap water before I could pull it out.
So, I dumped the water out of the helmet, let the helmet drain into the bathroom sink for a while, then put the still-wet helmet on over my sweatshirt hood to try to keep the worst of the wet off my head.
I will think twice before setting anything down under an unknown faucet again.

Oof. Something that hopefully happens only once lol. I usually look for a hook to hang it on.
