Watching Action on the Leaderboards
-
Looks like yourfriendchris (R2R) has topped the GT Daystreak at this moment as they have done sometimes before, being only a half day out, but... has dropped off the GT mileage Leaderboard. I did mention in another post that that #10 spot is risky to try to hold -- from there you cannot see competition coming.
-
SloeFloats, one of the original residents of the GT Daystreak Leaderboard, seems to have ended their streak and dropped off. Even without SloeFloats there are still at least seven names in the top five shuffle.
-
@s-leon Congrats on keeping up with it :)
Shame to see some names drop off the daystreak, that said not much ground to catch up on compared to the other boards currently. -
All week HanahsDax has been dogging at the heels of MatsonDFW... and has now grabbed the inside lane and pulled ahead! Go HanahsDax!!!
-
HanahsDax up to GT mileage number 6!!!
Here are the GT miles between places on the Leaderboard as of Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 9:42 pm Ohio time:
#1-#2 -- 1792 miles
#2-#3 -- 416 miles
#3-#4 -- 62 miles
#4-#5 -- 5 miles
#5-#6 -- 337 miles
#6-#7 -- 9 miles
#7-#8 -- 18 miles
#8-#9 -- 7 miles
#9-#10 -- 226 milesSome are just a few miles from each other!
Edit: Between GT #1 and GT #2 are more miles -- 1792 miles -- than GT #10 has all together -- 1669 miles. -
@s-leon Great observation and documentation. There has been a lot of movement recently from spot holders #3-9 and should continue over the next few days.
-
@hanahsdax -- I do enjoy watching the up-shifts and climbs as well as the downshifts and struggles. Watching the interplay is a little like overhearing private conversations between and among the seriously-dedicated and oh-so-determined riders.
Edit: The date/year mileages are enjoyable to see: 1902, 1942, 1957, 1965, and this morning 1902, 1952, 1957, 1983, and this afternoon 1911, 1952, 1965, 1983, next day 1911, 1981, 1983, 1984 -- close quarters!
-
Like 3 way ties this consecutive numbering might not happen again.
A flashback for some to years 1983-1985
-
@hanahsdax -- And now I see you are current at 2022! The others are still in the last century: 1945, 1985, 1996.
I also see you have another coincidence of numbers: Having ridden Onewheels for a total of 1300 consecutive days -- and having ridden your V1 in this daystreak for 1300 miles! Looks good!
-
Not the first time for this rider to hold 3 different spots on the leaderboard but well worth mentioning, FranKtheTanK is now on the GT mileage top 10.
-
@hanahsdax How many boards does this man have!
-
@hanahsdax -- FranKtheTanK now has 1812 miles logged on his GT -- like the 1812 Overture!
@Lia -- On a V1 Frank has an even 15,000 miles -- an app glitch set him back to where he is now on the V1 mileage Leaderboard. On a Plus he has 10,252 miles. On an XR? I do not know, but on a GT #10 with 1812!
-
Kind of an interesting scramble on top of the GT Daystreak: Perhaps having started riding their GT only a few hours ahead of yourfriendchris(R2R), Monoshredder (R2R) seems not content with being #1 on the GT Daystreak MOST of the time. As I write they are one mile ahead, too, and if they manage to keep that mileage lead, then Monoshredder (R2R) could also stay on top of the GT Daystreak heap ALL the time. I bet yourfriendchris(R2R) will make them work at -- having secured it -- to stay in it -- the top dog spot.
-
The long-time top rider for Onewheel Plus mileage this morning has shown up on the Plus Daystreak! Congratulations to TiY--N of France for now holding two slots on the Leaderboards!
A sidenote: For quite a while now NONE of the GT riders figures on both GT Leaderboards.
-
Logging miles like Onewheeling in his sleep, FranKtheTanK is moving up the GT mileage Leaderboard.

Bold of you to assume this man sleeps ;)
-
As if primed and ready for the challenge, HanahsDax must have ridden his GT much of the day today, putting in an AMAZING sixty whole miles between FranKtheTanK and himself -- WOW!!!
-
@s-leon Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Yesterday was probably the least amount of riding I did on a Saturday since owning a GT. I took a nasty fall Friday evening and have been recovering and trying to rest since. Ruined some plans I had this weekend but hasn’t stopped me from riding. I will post more about it on the “Whys of Falls” thread.
-
@hanahsdax Oh crap hope it wasn't too bad!
Fingers crossed you heal up soon x -
@hanahsdax -- Oh! The disadvantages of falling! Hurt! And impatient, often uncomfortable recovery time! However, one advantage of healing time is reflections on what happened. I am very curious to read about it. Not likely your head, not your typing fingers, not your feet or legs... heal up well!
