@Lia Congratulations on big attention your project well worth gained!
Please, could you share us some closer insight of those impressions by Future Motion comrades?

My little contribution to this off-topic:
switch = opposite to your natural stance
fakie = riding battery side forward, sensors back (while feet remaining on same pads respectively your stance type)
[While in skateboarding these mean higher science ...]
... in onewheeling implementing both of these terms is somewhat comprehensible.
I wouldn't see 'switch' in snowboarding due to boots clamped onto board. And I wouldn't imagine 'fakie' with surfboard due to its hydrodynamycs. But I might be short-sighted as not deeply involved in either sports.
@hanahsdax Road marking colors are notorious for having different kind of grip at some speeds. - Was he challenging himself with holding that line after trail riding with you?
Some spring flower vibe been taking over here.
Why not?

... actual schematics coming soon though?
I would not be too surprised if those will be featured in course of time. Because high skilled people would map these down anyways. Dude speaks about everything with open cards. Simply marvelous.
(Not gonna make new topic. Hope following fits in here.)

My mother got in habit calling it "rull" ever since saw it and didn't let loose of it.
Whilst meaning a lot of things .. 'rull' is somewhat short derivation of word 'teerull' ... which in turn means road roller compactor in english.
I suppose the look of fenderless stock Vega MBM had something to do with it.
EDIT: She is 78 yrs by now.
Awesome!
If Bodhi does not reflect some bit of it in next 'FIRST FRIDAYS' episode, then I really don't know what does!
Couple of things are upside down. One apparent, the other a bit hidden.
Helmets deserve their own topic anyways in the long term.
The following is a bit too bicycle oriented, but still worth checking out. It's not my finding so I'm quoting OP from Facebook :
" ... Virginia Tech did impact testing on 188 helmets. Interestingly enough, two popular helmets among Onewheelers (Thousand and Triple 8 ) were among some of the poorest performers. ... "
Knowing, accepting .. and actually acknowledging that principle helps a lot on understanding Tech-Rails and all the dizziness around it. Personally I don't bother get bitter.
[ And in this particular case, not liking these 'trussed rails' out of either material/design. Mainly due to the same maintenance and practicality-wise aspects out of @biell and @ed_co posts. ]
That aside ... I got couple of (simple?) things from their bucket and acknowledged long ago that the most of their ultra high-end products are out of my league. I just amaze on vast variety of options in OW world.
P.S. : If you saw two doggos having great times - you've watched the whole video.

@lia Hey all! Thanks for having me!
Almost feels like heart can start beat normal again after near death experience.
Wow, @Lia , so many complexity on details! Purely outstanding!
While gradually scrolling down on descriptions, my mind was buzzing all the way -- I need one look in low-light! Luckly there was one.
The second thought I had -- what if some of those potion pots had some colourful fluorescent (glow-in-the-dark) fillments. Not all of them, but two-three out of five.
AND.. if that effect included to the kit - what if that big cauldron could therefore be emitting more like blazing yellow-orange-red colors insted of that whole palett of rainbowish colors.
Whoops, sorry ... imagination got me carried away. Great work done!
( @cheppy44 & @Lemur )
... or in few other colors as well. Now. :D
With Tech-Rails you'll never know how long your info stays valid, because variety of options keep changing back and forth in a blink of eye everyday.
Yea, the pLaStic sPiDeR's equivalent product is/was made from aluminum. [Out of stock by now!] Just the name is misleading. :}
You just posted a minute before! :) -- Yep, that's what the community is eager to talk right now.
EDIT :
There were some discussions about pre-leaked 'knockoff' rail designs a while back ... now the site is finalized with the rest exposed.

Interesting times. Just when FM had went through U.S. CPSC Statement, the new bombshell taken place.
Let's see if the Floatwheel is about to change how OW community looking at Chinese equivalents. And if ... maybe time for FM to change some attitudes?
First off I need to point out :: On weekly bases I use three-four ways to transport myself. Whereas, unfortunately ... onewheeling is not in leading two positions.
By far 'wheeling kicks all the other variants -- The best way to clear my brains cache!
(And I never use any earbuds/headphones while on OW.)
Amazing knowledge and skill!
Soon you'll ought to move it all into hidden subcategory. In purpose of .. umm .. keeping healthy relations with FM.
I come from labour working class where not much of wealth is inherited and plenty of alike slowly diminish their few existing goals and blurry their dreams with other habits. So... close people and some of not-so-close but yet seen me growing within past 20-30yrs are like: What? .. okay .. at least he's not drinking, smoking and burning life.
My hyper-active local sports legend 77y mother is rather cool about it - she knows I've always been into "unordinary" tech stuff.
I got tons of colleagues and .. idk how .. I've not necessarily tried to keep it as a secret nor avoid contacts while on OW, but somehow I've managed to hold a low profile about it. Some few know by randomly bumping into (and were astounded, obviously) but the real blabbermouths likely have no idea. The thrill would be real at some. As commuting to work on 4-wheels is my occupational unavoidable routine, I'm liking this unawareness till it lasts. But this is only my second season on XR.
Out of all forum members here I might(?) be at the easternmost point [The Baltics]. Don't know. But you guys can imagine - there's no way you could go for ~1h ride here without feeling inquiring looks or hearing comments at any age group. Probably we have less onewheels than any state of US. Registrated, organized grouprides are not happening around here. :)
