RE: Arizona Onewheel Community
@lia Thank you - We have an amazing community out here and perfect winter weather. Unfortunately a lot of night rides in the summer due to the heat, but great trails and riders. If you ever make it to AZ please give us a shout!

RE: Helmet tests & ratings
I've tried a few of the helmets on the market including Triple 8, and Ruroc, but I LOVE my Xnito helmet. I personally think it's the best Onewheel helmet due to it class 3 rating for up to 28mph, which is the only non DOT helmet that provides that and it is well within the range of Onewheel limits. But my logic isn't based off just my opinion, as I run a 2000+ member community with group rides of over 100 riders and we all talk. A lot of the riders are giving Xnito a try. Some other features I love are the lights on the font and back which have been great for night group rides, it's ultra light with great ventilation, it has a removeable bill and for $25 you can get a insertable winter liner that works amazing in the frosty winter desert nights, which can amazingly get bone chilling when moving at 15+ mph lol If you would like to see a full review please check it out at https://onewheelaz.org/reviews/xnito-helmet-review/ you can even get $15 off with our community discount they were kind enough to share with Onewheel AZ.

RE: Helmet tests & ratings
@franko I think most riders when they are new to the Onewheel want a helmet that they feel "should" be safe enough for a value and Triple 8 is a well-marketed helmet with influencers like Tony Hawk. I love the look of the Thousand, although they did run big for me, and I have heard they may not be as protective as other helmets. I personally have an Xnito helmet and it has been amazing since I switched, and has a higher rating than most helmets for speeds up to 28mph. They aren't cheap at $150 but do come with a lifetime replacement and with our community discount, you can swoop one for $135. I think that is a bet well placed for brain safety!
