@lia Have you found a buster controller? I guess US is full of them... Here in Europe is a lost cause...

Finished mapping the traces (I think. I don't see anything I've missed yet)
Still need to tidy up the schematic and find the values for a bunch of components too. The inductors and diodes will not be fun >.>
Is just impressive. If you could make it work, it would be the resurrection of dead XRs...
If you could beef it up (like doing a 18s-20s), and make it much better, then this would be the vesc killer... I would be your first customer
White looks amazing BTW... -
RE: New rails for a Pint showpiece
Jeez, don't like them at all. Prefer these ones by FAR:

RE: XR battery recommendations
You are more than prepared of doing your own battery Lia!! There are not good options outthere, as you know already what is the CBXR and its cons...

Have you made railguards for the varials? Looks awesome in orange!
Sorry, just seeing this! Nothing special, it's just vinyl wrap. Less than $10 on Amazon plus a sharp blade :)
But do you think this will protect against falls and collisions?
Can you send me the link on Amazon?
Thanks -
RE: 357-T rails from Tech-Rails
From the creators of, "it was already fucking expensive" to... "we can do it even better"

RE: 357-T rails from Tech-Rails
I really like diversity and people's different taste for sure.
But in my opinion, I couldn't like it less:- I don't like the look (in my opinion is aweful, as I always hated the tech rails -and its Eiffel tower ugly look and highly overpriced-, and this is not more than the usual tech rails with perforated holes).
- I thing is not practical for getting any dirt. Which looses the purposes for a supposed All Terrain Vehicle
- I guess in rain conditions couldn't be a worse choice. Same with trails.
On the positive side, this could be lighter. Although I don't think will be too much lighter, and the final impact of a heavy board.
Even thought, I am glad these things exists as people likes it, and I like seen people happy. If people is happy it makes me happy although not being my cup of tea :) -
RE: I don't think 9 lives is enough.
Very well executed Lia. Very well done :)

I went on a large ride yesterday, over 125 pev riders. Not many Onewheelers, maybe 15 at most.
Mostly EUc's and scooters, but it was a fun ride on a sunny day.
Near Olympic village? At the opposite side of the water?

@ed_co Has anyone managed to come close to fitting 20s2p into an XR battery pack, especially 21700?
That pack would probably have to be longer than the stock pack or taller like it is in the GT.@Lia, I think I have an idea. Can we talk about it?
-
RE: XR footpads into GT rails
@lemur I am fine with a thin stiff plank underneath
I just hope the proper XR battery box could be a reality one day. Wouldn't care anymore about GT platform.
-
RE: XR footpads into GT rails
@lemur thanks for the photos man
Would love to see that with the bumper around, and how the footpad fits around, if looks bad...
To overcome the 2.5mm would be pretty easy with a 2.5 gastket.. this is not a problem I guess. -

That pack would probably have to be longer than the stock pack or taller like it is in the GT.Igor Samul did it (the one who made the TORque box, well didn't made it, order someone to made, I have the .stl file BTW -maybe not the final one but almost-):
https://www.facebook.com/groups/231469878541536/permalink/577012303987290/
He was able to put a 20s2p in a printed TORque box (as I said I have one .stl almost like his final version), but taking advantage of the space where the BMS is. Even though have to be a much better way with a much better design.Taller will fuck up the XR stance, and as I said, a gasket is not an option. It will just dismissed the purpose of the XR platform. What no one ever tried, is going crazy about the shape of the box. Always tryinng to fulfill exactly the same shape of the original. Maybe there are other ways to make it work, in the same volume but slightly different.
The other day I thought:
Maybe getting rid of the blue holes and making them differently... Being flat, it will have much more space. Maybe there are more ways to close the lid...
Maybe another kind of design more in line with the Pint-X... don't know...
I know how hard is the task. That's why I think maybe I just have to throw the towel.

RE: XR footpads into GT rails
My only hope now is to be able to some day get a batterybox that can store 20s2p 21700 batteries, being safe enough. Which I am not sure if I have to throw the towel. Maybe I have to.

RE: XR footpads into GT rails
Well, knowing that the floatwheel will not be compatiblw with GT accessories, I am out of this possibility, I was having hopes about the rails, but not anymore. I am not interested on GT platform as it is very expensive to get third party rails... :(
