I've been asked all the standard questions while riding, "how much does it cost", "does it have a motor", etc? One of my favorites while actually riding in the middle of a trail is "you can ride that back here?"
But, over the weekend on a small group ride, I was asked a single, very pertinent question I was not expecting. "What PSI do you ride that at back here?" I yelled "17", and the mountain biker replied back "that makes sense." The other two riders and I looked at each other and were like, "that was specific."
So, the boring, same-old questions aside, what the the interesting, thoughtful, and intuitive/specific questions you have gotten from the general public?
It's always interesting when people come up with thoughtful and specific questions, especially when it shows a genuine curiosity about your gear or activity. Here are some unique and thoughtful questions others have received in various contexts:

**"Are there different types or styles of [your activity], and what makes them unique?"
**"Can you recommend a favorite spot or trail for someone new to [your activity]?"

**"Have you noticed changes in [the environment or terrain] over the time you've been doing this?"
**"Is there a particular [piece of gear or equipment] you wouldn't go without?"
**"Do you have any funny or memorable stories from your experiences in [your activity]?"
**"How do you deal with [specific challenges or obstacles] while doing [your activity]?"
