Hey guys, I’m pretty suspicious of an issue on my Pint X. I rode it for maybe 6-7 months until the stock tire finally gave out, and I replaced it with a Floatlife Enduro. I thought the tire change went well, I had no issues I could perceive.

However, one thing is really bugging me. I think roughly ever since I changed the tire, my board isn’t giving me haptic buzz at its higher speeds anymore. A few weeks ago I nosedived and got myself hurt, and I don’t recall being clearly warned about going to fast by haptic buzz before the nosedive. This is what made me the most suspicious that it just isn’t happening anymore, and it’s quite a safety concern to me, I find it to be a very valuable warning system.

Why would it just stop happening (or be so reduced as to be imperceptible suddenly)? If anyone could help me troubleshoot this I’d greatly appreciate it.

(I opened an official support ticket with Onewheel, and sent firmware diagnostics and they told me they found nothing strange at all on that front, so according to official channels it seems to not be some software problem)

@hydropage Sorry to hear you nosedived. Do you recall the events and conditions prior to it happening?
Like the type of terrain, estimated speeds if you can and if there were any obstacles like rocks, roots or some other object that could have contributed.

It may be worth recording a few rides using the app and seeing what sort of utilisation the board is under especially in the area it happened to try figure out a possible cause for the nosedive to occur without any noticeable warning.
