Pint x digital tilt recalibration...

 Just installed a set of WTF rail on my new pint X going through the process of recalibration of my digital tilt and I got into "factory mode" with the first code had the green light then the board started flashing yellow and I went through the sequence of codes and never got another green light always flashing yellow 7 times. I get a battery too hot or too cold message and that's it. I can power the board off and ride it no yellow light. It only happens after I put in the 1st code CAEA in the process. Any thoughts anyone?...

 @seabass I believe someone with a GT encountered the same "too hot or too cold" error during tilt calibration ".
 I believe he sent his Gt in for repair, FM replaced his controller and may have updated his firmware that locks out "factory mode" . GT firmware can be rolled back. Your case may be different .
 What is your PX firmware?
 Your board should be at the tilt you want before trying nrf or Digtilt.
 -Confirmed ** That "too hot and too cold " error was due to using nrf on a Gt with the newest 6132 firmware**

 @lemur version says 2.6.13 I really don't want to ride in elevated x mode all the time it would suck to have to send this back to FM I ve had it 3 weeks amd already voided warranty by changing out the tire opening the battery box and fixing the case issue by the balancing wires and weather sealing everything

 @seabass That's not your firmware, it's under diagnostic page in the app, should be 5076 if it hasn't been upgraded, picture is from my Pint firmware 5040 ![IMG_7232[1].PNG](/assets/uploads/files/1690406059980-img_7232-1.png)

 @lemur mine is 5092

 @seabass Yikes! That's new, and there's no rollback, if that's true and there's a new firmware, then factory mode is locked out and no tilt calibration is possible.

 @seabass Can you take a screenshot of your diagnostic page with the firmware? I would like to confirm to warn other PX owners. Thanks.

 @lemur how do you post a picture on here ?

 @seabass When you're posting, the last icon in the roll of icons is the image icon.
 Someone else on FB has also confirmed the new firmware is 5092

 @seabass
 This icon in case you can't spot it :)

 @lemur Is it not possible to downgrade on newer firmware?
-

 @cloud You can down grade the Gt, XR, Og Pint as the ota updates were available publicly , but PX never had a ota update, besides FM closed that window when Rewheel was forced to shut down.
 Now FM is shutting out nrf.

 @lemur said in Pint x digital tilt recalibration...: You can down grade the Gt, XR, Og Pint as the ota updates were available publicly , but PX never had a ota update, besides FM closed that window when Rewheel was forced to shut down. Pint X OTA are possible, Just seems to cause many, many, many issues. ST-Link seems to be the safe way to go. A couple of people I had that tried most of the time had to ST-Link but works.

 @cloud is there a walkthrough somewhere you can point me to or am I going to have to see if FM will recalibrate my board with the WTF rails installed......
-

 @cloud Doesn't the st link require a firmware that's been extracted from someone's Px stm 32 to write to yours?
 Ending up with a donor firmware that has that serial number and mileage.

 @seabass Fm won't touch your board with wtf rails on it.
-

 @lemur I just called them and that's what they told me, why do they do this to us!?!? Looks like this board is getting ridden in elevated x mode until I can buy an old XR and mod that thing out.
-

 @seabass The other option is to convert your Px to a Rewheeled Og Pint with a Og Pint controller and bms.
 That way you can still revert back to a stock PX when you want to sell it (low mileage too) and the Og Pint controller/bms will bring in money.
 I'm sourcing a bms to complete a Rewheeled Og Pint controller for a friend that bought a new PX , wtf rails that has 5076.

 @lemur I'll have to research into this, this board is new I have 60 miles on it. Sucks that we have to find ways around to modify things we bought because the manufacturer doesn't want us meddling with their stuffs.

 @lemur I hear bob has it.
