Onewheel GT Stripped Hub Bolts
-
Hey y'all, I stripped the 2 hub bolts on the maghandle side of my GT pretty bad. I used a TP45 bit but still managed to strip them, I also had 2 feet of leverage on the bolt and it wouldn't budge. Any recommendations on how to get them out?

What a nightmare…
Been getting knackered bolts out of all sorts of things for years.
Normally a hammer and a screwdriver will work but being recessed makes it more tricky.
Have you thought of something like these ?
You may need to do a bit of drilling first… start small.Maybe it’ll help you ?
Good luck.

@puzz360 I'm definitely going to have to try that, would you think it would be better if I used a dremel and a flat head to get it out? Or maybe a manual impact driver?

@tehteh
I'm not sure about a dremel but the impact driver is a good shout too
Maybe if you have a flat blade bit wide enough to go in the widest part of the allen headed bolt and a good shock with an impact driver may well work... -
