Iโm sure there will be plenty more to come. This forum is blessed with a number of amazing riders with so much many cool things to share. Itโs an honour to be able to host it x
@franko Yeah the area is named Rockslide. It used to be a locals secret pow spot but the ski company decided to make it an official part of the resort a couple years ago. Prospect Trail runs right thru the lower part of it.
@divouneh it looks I am getting drunk ๐, 3 times the same post ๐. My grocery this morning with 20psi, morรฉ confortable than with 26psi. All is in the practice ๐โฆ.
@LOAFFETTE Sorry for your experience! I know I'm bad at creating new topics instead of bumping the old ones. If the forum ever has one alike.
But on that particular case I thought the thrill about video ~3 years back adds some context to it. Because its "FM x TFL" discussion point. Interestingly enough Bodhy have swiched sides in meanwhile. Yet we still haven't seen Tech-Rails, Craft&Ride, Land-Surf and many other 3rd parties even slightly featured in FM's social media as TFL now has repeatedly been.
... material people use on surfboards/paddle boards for the Onewheel grip? That rubber diamond shaped traction pad type thing?
Sounds familiar to EvoGRIPโข Diamond Stud ? StickyFeet -- they've been trending throughout various media platforms lately. Somewhat 'next level' new solution after numerous dif griptapes, foam-pads etc.
(No personal experience, tho.)

Insert Texas not getting cold until early-December
Insert crazy texas weather
I hope to attend a really big onewheel event this year, and meet some people in the VESC community.
I'm also hoping to waterproof my board and to develop a couple cool things I've been cooking up, one of them involving a helmet addon
@chippmover
Congratulations on joining the Onewheel community. You have made a fine choice.
Just ease into it, no heroics, the skill set will improve with time on the board.
I started riding at 68 years of age, and am currently 70. I ride every day, and enjoy every mile.
Be safe my friend!

@onedangts Solid info. Tysm :)
I tried a goat a few weeks ago but that GT also had the latest firmware so I was always trying to figure which I was feeling at play when off road. I'm still rocking the OG GT treaded so I'm not super fussed on the hard edges. I'm definitely a bit of a fringe rider with my preferences ๐
Defo will try to if we do Opensauce next year. Big IF because I'm not sure yet if we're going. Wish we had planned to stay longer this year but tbh we didn't think we'd be up to much like the time before. Sacramento will be on the todo list and we'll give you a heads up if we're in the area ๐ฅฐ
@loaffette Big oof ๐ถ
Idk. It is priced at what the PintX was so technically still better for the money but I'd still want those little QOL bumps for an S series.
Also that screen snippy you posted shows that bumper edge they mentioned which I couldn't spot on my first viewing. Pretty big so maybe that is for the rail guards like they suggested.
It may quiet down as the tire wears, but it's not too loud as to be annoying.
Quick follow up with about 150 miles on the ThunderCat. I would say the noise level is about half what it was when new. On some surfaces you can barely hear it, but the hum is still there and definitely keeps me informed in real time as to my approximate speed. Overall, loving this tire, great grip both on and off pavement. :D
@lia it was! that rain made for one of the best years i can remember in a long, long time. it was fantastic. kinda hoping it rains again this year, but alas, the long-range forecast is looking like a totally normal (perhaps even slightly cooler) year.
