@jessejedi If it's the same as the Pint X, I really liked the Hoosier treaded myself.

Hopefully I'll get some cool pics and vids in a few weeks of people having a go with it.
Hopefully very small people!

RE: Followup to the Onewheel XS
@lia I thought I saw a third XS in the earlier pics . . . I was hoping your own personal XS would be an homage to Slush, at least in its colorway. :)

RE: Followup to the Onewheel XS
@lia This is just amazing! All this and you didn't even break a nail!!!

RE: Onewheel Photoshoot Thread
@lia Yup, standard GTS lowboy pads . . . way better than the hard core concaves that come on the GT. I put the flat pads on my GT (now my Hawaii boarfd) cuz I hated the GT concaves.

RE: OneDanX leaving Hawaii - For sale with shipping deal
Well, it was the thought that counts. After boxing up the OneDanX to ship back to the mainland to sell it here, I found out that it's almost impossible to ship any kind of PEV to or from Hawaii as a consumer. Only companies with contracts with a major shipper like UPS can actually ship OWs, EUCs, E-bikes, etc to/from Hawaii.
After lowering the price to a fire sale of $600, I finally got a bite on my last day there. I told the guy if he could pick it up that day, it was a deal. The way I figure, it's better off at least being ridden than sitting in a box until I go back in a few months and try to sell it again. The guy had never ridden, but seemed totally psyched to get a great deal.
Thx @Puzz360 for the last minute interest, but probably would've been even more difficult to ship to the UK!

Got a $5 red shark sticker in Hawaii for the GTS . . . but it NEEDED some $140 red TFL Bang Bumpers to complete the look!

RE: Onewheel Photoshoot Thread
@lia I remember a time when you would've been riding IN that stream!

OneDanX leaving Hawaii - For sale with shipping deal
Hey everyone
After posting my Pint X and contacting the local floating group here in Hawaii, the OneDanX hasn't gotten any firm offers. I'm planning to ship it back to CA where it should garner a bit more interest.
That's where the deal comes in: I'm offering free shipping to the lower 48 US states or $50 shipping anywhere else to members of this forum. Asking $800. Will be sent to CA in about 2 weeks, so this is a limited time offer. :)
You can find pics of my board here on the forum, but here are the details:
- Pint X with under 900 miles - purchased in Feb 2022
- Hoosier treaded tire installed on day 1, in great shape
- Original tire included, if it will fit in the box
- Purple TFL rail guards
- Two C&R magnetic fenders included: one purple palms and one flat black - both in like new condition
- Black FM aluminum handle installed, original plastic handle included
- Original box and shipping box included
- Brand new battery replaced by FM last fall to fix wiring issue. Currently stored at around 50%
- Latest firmware (yes, haptic buzz, not that I've ever felt it)
- Stand included, again, if it will fit in the box, lol
Quick pic for those that are search challenged:

RE: VOW Vesc'd GT is insane!
@franko I hate to say it, but I'm actually comfortable at 23 mph on my GTS. I usually stay closer to 20, but on wide open smooth stretches, I have touched 24. On most of my rides, my average is around 18 and top speed is 23.x.
I will agree though, watching those videos, I have no desire to go anywhere near those speeds!

The OneDanGT moves to Hawaii
So after I purchased the GTS, I loaned my GT out to a noob for a few weeks. It had some minor wear and tear already, but came back to me with some nice fender and rails cuts and bruises. Coincidence or not, the controller started failing a few days after the latest firmware upgrade, so I sent it in to FM. While they had it, I swapped out the return address and, lo and behold, it got shipped to my home away from home on the north shore of Oahu!
I packed up the charger, fender, a new GOAT tire, and new TFL rail guards and hand carried them on my trip. After verifying that the GT was fixed, I got everything installed. I even sharpied and put clear coat nail polish on the fender scratches. Being my 4th or 5th tire change, this one took a total of maybe an hour, including taking the board apart and putting it back together.
So here's the OneDanGT all comfy in its new digs:
Not claiming I rode it up into these roots, although I'm sure there may be folks on this forum that could! I actually think the GOAT and the Psycho Tuna on the fendor make it look like this is actually possible.
New Vans Half Cabs in gold to complement the new color way of the OneDanGT:

RE: GT Rebuild
@lia No reveal yet, but I swapped to a GOAT tire today (had a 2,000 mile Enduro with worn out shoulders). The GOAT is really nice, very similar to the Hoosier Treaded Whisper T2 on the OneDanXR. Compared to the Pint X I was riding here, the GT with the new tire is night and day!
The Enduro came off in like 2 minutes and the GOAT went on just as fast. The 2 beads popped at 50 and 60 psi. Overall, a somewhat painless process compared to the 2 days it took me to swap out the OEM tire on the Pint X when I first got it.

RE: (Resolved) Forum Outage
@lia The worst part for me was that my VPN was having issues right before it went out, so I when I fixed it, this site wouldn't come back and I spent a bit of time thinking my VPN was still messed up!

Shame US only...
The video does show that you can still get the credit outside the US lower 48, but you have to pay the shipping. I wonder how cheap you could ship it for and, if it goes by boat, would it make it by the deadline? :)
When I shipped my Pint X to them for the battery wires issue, it took 10 days from Hawaii to get to them in CA.

It'll be interesting to see how much range I gain when I get new bearings in there.
That and when the warmer weather hits, you'll gain quite a bit of range I think.

@lia said in Onewheel Trade In Program (Ending March 8th 2024):
That said I assume part of that might be to try reduce the number of FM parts getting VESC'd lol.
Perhaps, but you don't need ANY XR parts to make a VESC board. About the only thing used is usually the rails (who wants to keep the straight ones for a custom board tho?) and maybe the XR bumpers, which are some of the lowest quality you can buy. The batteries from original XRs are most likely done or close to being done and the electronics, you're better off with after market, from what I've seen.
Of course, they put up this deal after I got my GT fixed a month ago for $300+, which with the extra $1200, puts MY potential savings at $1500+. I'm not too upset tho, I'll have a nice familiar GT (I've put on ~4000 miles already) to ride while at my home away from home.

RE: GT Rebuild
@lemur I had already updated it as I don't ride up to or past pushback and I wanted the custom shaping.

Wanna see pics of these boards now :3
https://owforum.co.uk/post/5612 . . . that's what they look like now.
https://owforum.co.uk/post/5610 . . . better pic of the GTS.The GT was loaned to my brother-in-law to learn on, so the bumpers, rail guards and fender got pretty scratched up. It then had a controller issue so I sent it to FM to fix it and I swapped the return address to my Hawaii place while they had it and they shipped it back there (FM life hack to get your board shipped somewhere, LOL). Like a new board, it got to Hawaii in 3 days as well! Once I get there in March, I'll put on the new TFL rail guards and the sharpie/clear nail polish repaired fender along with the new tire (will keep that secret until the reveal).

I got some lowboy footpads
I really like these on my GTS. I replaced the concave pads on my GT for the flats, but that was before the lowboys came out. My GT is now waiting for me in Hawaii and will get a new tire and small cosmetic makeover soon as, right now, both of my boards are pretty murdered out.
