I come from labour working class where not much of wealth is inherited and plenty of alike slowly diminish their few existing goals and blurry their dreams with other habits. So... close people and some of not-so-close but yet seen me growing within past 20-30yrs are like: What? .. okay .. at least he's not drinking, smoking and burning life.

My hyper-active local sports legend 77y mother is rather cool about it - she knows I've always been into "unordinary" tech stuff.

I got tons of colleagues and .. idk how .. I've not necessarily tried to keep it as a secret nor avoid contacts while on OW, but somehow I've managed to hold a low profile about it. Some few know by randomly bumping into (and were astounded, obviously) but the real blabbermouths likely have no idea. The thrill would be real at some. As commuting to work on 4-wheels is my occupational unavoidable routine, I'm liking this unawareness till it lasts. But this is only my second season on XR.

Out of all forum members here I might(?) be at the easternmost point [The Baltics]. Don't know. But you guys can imagine - there's no way you could go for ~1h ride here without feeling inquiring looks or hearing comments at any age group. Probably we have less onewheels than any state of US. Registrated, organized grouprides are not happening around here. :)

Soooo turns out riding fenderless over a bunch of pine needles is far less than desirable. So much so, I broke and picked up a full fender. With a little modification it fits the FAF rails. Just have to get used to the noise again... I forgot how loud they are.

@puzz360 yep, I've had that happen before

I don't like carrying around umbrellas since I find them to be a hassle to carry, and I often end up just throwing on rain gear and calling it a day.

@rahan12 said in Connecting two XR chargers in parallel to emulate a Hypercharger ?:

Hi guys, I searched the forum and the web but couldn't find an answer.
Wouldn't it be possible to plug two XR stock chargers and connect them in parallel with an XLR Splitter Cable (1 female to 2 male XLR) so as to have one female XLR that outputs 6A at 63V ?
Wouldn't that be the same as what the Chibattery Fast charger provides ?

Just as something to use every now and then when a fast charge is really required, not on a regular basis.

It's been done. A company named two-x.com used to sell a 2 into 1 XLR combiner for the onewheel plus and V1 called a "charge-x" cable. I owned two of them. You needed two V1/Plus chargers plugged into the charge-x and the output was plugged into board. Info can be found on their website in the FAQ section, then search for the charge-x questions/answers.

... I'm sure some of us remember how boring it was on the old forum to see "Recent" filled with links to boards on eBay.

      Spoiler

Oh, yes! Definitely remember. Was that an AI? Ugh..
Back then I figured it is "board-less onewheel ethusiast" sincerely looking out for all of those aftermarket options and stubbornly sharing it with the rest of community since the loads of eBay offers didn't match to its preferred location etc.

      Good job, Lia!

So, remember this GT ghosting problem? Because of it, CNR wouldn't ship me my GT grip tape that I ordered. They wanted to wait until FM had figured out the problem before shipping the grip tape. Well, it took them so long to decide that ghosting was fixed that I honestly forgot I had ordered it. in fact, since then, I have been through 3 different GT footpad configurations!

But, apparently we can all now agree that ghosting is fixed, because I got this today from CNR. Note the April 22nd delivered date on my XR grip isn't in the future, it is two years ago!

I assume that at some point in time I will find some use for this.

@samuraipunch I don't want to change the battery now, but have to do it after like 5 years or something, and would be great if i don't have to send it back for that
